I agree, I agree, I agree! I told my boss I am having wedding dress issues and am not coming to work tomorrow so I can handle it. I am going to go try on the other 2 dresses that I liked and take pics to see what I think of them. Am I blinded by the price tag? I don't know, cuz I really like the way it looks and I like it looking in the mirror, but I do hate the pics. So we'll see. I will check back in on Friday.

What about buying business card size with the wording for your rsvp and then buying little envelopes that you'd include as well? I don't know where you could get the envelops, but I know you could find them. Or have them rsvp on your webpage? Oh, well, if you have a webpage! I wish I had placed an RSVP on my std's, so I had a better idea of who intended on coming....

I thought I remembered someone having their reception at Evita's and was interested in the pricing and details. I tried to do a search for Evita, but nothing came back... Beaches gave me ridiculously high quotes for a reception there (even though it's all inclusive!?) at $75/pp. Maybe that isn't ridic high, but it is more then we can afford. So I am looking into toher options and I seemed to remember that the woman from Evita's was great and the prices were good.

Morgan - I ordered luggage tags (actually the premium business cards) from them and they really are a great deal. I would just make sure you double-triple-check your order. There was a typo on mine, I used a really scripty font and the P was left off of Phone. I noticed mere minutes after submitting my order and you cannot cancel once submitted. To be simple - I look like a whale. But I always think I look big. I know in reality I am normal, but I always think pics look horrible, which is why I overlooked it yesterday. But then to hear my sister say that it didn't look good either, that is what makes it real. My mom has a tendancy to be mean to me and always tells me I am fat (hence my self-image issues, it's always been a problem). I know I am not fat, so I am not looking for reassurance there, it is all in how I perceive myself when I see pics. My sister asked if I would be comfortable with the pics when the wedding is over, since that is all I have. From yesterday, I'd say no. But I really do like the dress. And the price is right. But I would hate to feel bad on my wedding. I am rambling.

I never heard that the prongs are always platinum, but that is an idea to look into. My stone is sitting in gold (since it's a yellow stone) and the band is white gold. It's only been 9 months, but I haven't had any problems. Do you have insurance? I would def look into that since you have had 2 issues so close together.

Ok, so I am not a good BDW'er after all, cuz I am NOT posting pics. I put the dress on again yesterday and had some pictures taken. I like the way it looks in the mirror, but the pics are hideous. I didn't let it bother me too much, cuz I figured I NEVER like pictures. Then my mom called me this morning to tell me she had to tell me that she hated the dress. This pisses me off cuz I put it on numerous times and said please be honest and tell me, I only have 7 days to return it! Never said a peep. So I called my sister (whom I trust, sometimes my mom is just mean) and my sis isn't crazy about it either. I don't know what to do now. I honestly CANNOT post the pics, cuz they were that bad. But I don't feel that bad when I look in the mirror. I have to return it by tomorrow if I am going to. So I am unsure what to do - keep the dress and work on losing weight so I feel like it looks good in pics? return the dress and don't dress shop until I feel comfortable with my body? I have been getting mixed opinions from everyone. Some say if you feel uncomfortable, jsut return it, something else will come up. Others say, it was only $350, just keep it and if you find another, no big loss. (Those people must have money growing on trees!) But I really do like the dress, just not in pics. And that totally matters, so I am stumped. AHHHHHHHHHHH!

I am wondering cuz the prices are great, I wonder if I could book our reception there (or if there are other options nearby). Here is the price list options I was provided: (I would like to have a reception down there, but can't afford the $75/pp which is the option that I like) *** Your reception choices for all onsite guests are as follows: $15pp after the 2nd guest :basic cocktail reception includes cake, champagne, and cold hordourves $25pp private cocktail reception includes cake, champagne, hot and cold hordourves and an open bar for one hour $50pp dinner only reception includes a 4 course dinner with an open bar for 2 hours. $75pp private cocktail and dinner reception includes cake, champagne, hot and cold hordourves, open bar for 3 hours and a 4 course dinner.

I am a bit behind on the planning part. I think it is because my contact at Beaches isn't very forthcoming with information, but I want to create a list of things that I should plan beforehand and that I will need to discuss with her. Any help updating this list is appreciated! - welcome dinner/cocktails (optional) - ceremony - aisle runner (I want to use petals) - arches - seating (decorations for chairs?) - sand ceremony table - reception (I want to wait until closer when I have a more definate number of guests to plan this) Please help me, I feel so behind...

I found my dress on ebay for $350! Got it this weekend and it is perfect. Going to try it on again today to be sure.

I like them in the order of b, d, a, c. I guess I like the look of the more traditional japanese style cherry blossom. They are all pretty choices though. Good luck with your decision!
