  1. I already PM'd you my info and I keep forgetting to create a list, so I am just going to do it! 1. Scrapbook supplies - embellishments, tools, whatever 2. Wine (Pinot Grigio) or gift cert to winery 3. picture frames, comfy pj's (sz sm), books, random things, etc. Whatever is FINE with me!
  2. Susan, what are you doing on the computer! Get back to your hubbie! Glad everything went well but we can def wait until your return to hear about it. unless you want to post pics, of course.
  3. I am searching for this kit right now. There was nothing like it in that section of my craft store. I was going to check another, but hadn't made it over there yet... 4. Do a search for boarding passes. A bunch of people have done it this way. I thnk amyh and Tami for sure. Mine are set up this way as well, but they aren't done yet. Do you have any specific questions?
  5. Thanks, Ann! that is exactly the thread that I had read before, but I guess I hadn't read it all the way thru. I am doing that now... And Trish - I am in no rush. Someone posted a "6 month to go" or something and I was starting to freak out about what I hadn't done, so I can wait, I was just trying to move stuff into my "in process" column!
  6. I know a bunch of people have gathered on here previously and gotten in on lump pashmina orders. Is anyone interested? I have plenty of time, but would like to order. I think Glenda did this for people before, but I remember she was having some issues with it. Does anyone know where to get them cheap??
  7. Awww, Tammy I wish I was there and could've brought my parents BT's! One of them reminded me alot of my parents Lucy who passed away last summer. I miss her, she was the BEST boston out of our whole group (we had 4).
  8. Dear WC at Beaches, Answer my f-ing emails. I don't know why it is so hard for you to give me the simple things that I request. Pics of flowers, cake and ceremony sites. I mean, that has to be the simplest requests that you can get being a WC. I gave you extra time cuz I thought maybe I was being ridic when I wanted this info from you when I still had 9-10 months until my wedding. Well, I am almost at 6 months and I am starting to freak out. Don't make me come down there, Carly
  9. I know, but me FI is only a few inches taller then me (and I am pretty darn short!), so I love heels, but I don't want to look like a monster on my wedding day!
  10. Ditto what Heidi said. I am including the rsvp card and referring them to our website. I included our TA info as well as our resort info.
  11. Jilly, I am so happy for you! Good luck with your new sig scent!
  12. I did try zappo's, but I was limiting it to flat. I think I might be leaning towards heels for the reception cuz they are just funner. I know that's not a word, but I like it.
  13. Angela - everything looks awesome! Can you come and do all that for me?? I love eveything that you did. Congrats on such a great job!
  14. Julie - that sounds and looks awesome! I am glad you had such a wonderful time and those PJ's are super cute!!!
  15. I think I might have to go for heels. Just cuz I love them and you can find such cool different styles! But I love all the ideas, so keep'em coming! I don't think I want a ballet flat though, now that i am thinking about it. I am going to be in Jamaica, so I dn't want my shoes filled with sand and giving me blisters. I think that will be my mission for this coming weekend, GO SHOE SHOPPING! Yay, what fun!
  16. Thanks, Jules, those 1st ones were cute, but I wear a 5 or 5.5 so a 12 is never gonna work! The thing that is hard is I love heels and funky heels are so easy to find, but I don't want to have to deal with hurting feet on my wedding day. Or sinking in the sand!
  17. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am sure eating canoli's last night didn't help me case though! Hahhahaaa.
  18. Yeah, I def want a color, but I was having trouble finding a style or anything that jumped out at me. I like the idea of the ballet flat. My colors are fuschia, orange and blue, so I'd like something in those colors. I have been looking and looking and nothing jumps out! It's so frustrating. I will be sure to post when I do have some ideas though.
  19. So I really want to wear shoes that are fun/different/unexpected. My sister wore leopard print with rhinestones under her wedding dress and I just think that is great. I am having a really hard time finding anything evenly slightly close to what I want. But the weird thing is I also have no idea what I want! For those that never saw, here is a pic of my dress, so you can see what styles might go with it. I don't want to wear heels. Any advice or directions would be great. Colors? Styles? Ugh, I thnk all these decisions have me fried.
  20. Yeah, I thought that about the chairs as well, but then figured peeps usually lay a towel over the chair before they sit/lay on it anyway. I never consider 5 below though, I know exactly where one is in my area and maybe they will have come on clearance! I have plenty of time (6+ months).
  21. OMG, someone just sent this to me and I figured to pass it along. Funny stuff. Video of shake - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
