Matt and I planned the combo DW and HM. I like to get to know a place and get comfortable, so I didn't want to have to uproot and move to a different resort halfway thru. I did all the research, but we made the final decision together, mostly based on the fact that we wanted people with kids to be able to have the things they needed.

I chose Beaches Boscobel b/c I liked the look of it better then the Riu and I doubt my decision daily since there are so many Riu brides no here. But it was AI, the price was right and it was child friendly. Those were my reasons. I still like Beaches better, but the Riu girls get such better customer service from Chandlyn then I do from Renee and that is my only concern so far. Renee gives me half-ass info or doesn't respond at all. But I have read that once you are there, they are super accommodating, so I am not too concerned about it just yet. What were your reasons for choosing Beaches? Perhaps if we know why you are doubing your decision, it might be more clear.

I think having one in Jamaica is a great idea, but it depends on what you want to do. I don't have many of my friends traveling to Jamaica, so I would rather do something here prior to leaving, so I can include everyone important to me.

Well, out of those showing interest, it looks like Corey's and Rachel's are the first weddings in March. So if we order after Christmas, we should be fine. But from the last thread, we need to get an order of 200 to received the discount, so we may end up doing individual orders. Also, Maria (MikkiStreak) negotiated that price and I am not sure if it was a one time offer on the compnay's part, but if we get that many, we can def look into it.

I just read thru all 7 pages of the thread Ann gave and the price was $2.75, but it was only for a lump order. They are listed at $3.50 on the website. I only need 24, but perhaps over the next few months, we can get a large enough order together to get the discounted rate.

Wow, I hope if it is beautiful and rainy for my wedding, that it is dark and stormy like that. The sky is gorgeous. And I only mean dark and stormy, not rainy or cold or windy. Not likely, though since they go together!!
