  1. I went to mostly places near me and not in the city, but here's what I can remember... I was also looking for a specific style that wasn't widely carried, so I had alot of trouble finding anything with a slim silhouette, and lace and beading. Harleysville Bridal - the selection was pretty good. Mostly current styles, the people were nice. Really small shop. (I like small shops as opposed to the large warehouses). Prices seemed the same as elsewhere - average was around $1,000-1,500. I would have loved to support this store. Ann Baileys - Doylestown - this is where I found my dress and they had the most that were in the style that I wanted, I swear I think I could've bought like 4 dresses from there. Kinda expensive though. Country Bride - Bensalem - blah. I didn't like anything in this store and I didn't really like the people so much either. Bridal Town - Skippack - this place looks like it is off a horror movie set. My sister got her dress here a few years ago and it was gorgeous, but they did not have 1 dress that wasn't puffy. Not one in the entire store. There were a few pretty puffy ones that I tried on that I even liked, but it didn't fit what I was looking for. The place is really weird looking though. Sabrina Ann - Ardmore - Consignment bridal shop, wedding gowns. Ardmore, PA. - This is a bridal consignment shop and the dresses in the store were of really good quality. She will even take your name and contact you if something similar to what you are looking for comes in. Eliza D - Montgomerville - this is mostly a bridesmaid store or if you are attending a wedding, but they had quite a few that could pass for bridal if you didn't want something too bridal-y. When I went there, I almost bought 4 dresses, cuz they were under $300 a piece and they were nice. The designer for a few of them was Scala. That is all I can think of for now...
  2. I want an eyelash transplant, hahahaa. If they look great on me, I know it is somethng I will do all the damn time, cuz I hate my puny lashes.
  3. Hahaha, Jules, look what you started! I am making calls to get them in the next 2 weeks or so for a wedding we have on the 23rd. I want to test them out for my wedding, cuz I have lashes like snuffaluffagus, they come straight down. but they aren't long or black. They are practically blonde and average length, so they suck. I can't wait to get it done. Yay for Julie starting a new beauty trend!
  4. quick question - I have been doing this all day so far (I know, I am working SO hard!), and how can I enter a child under a person? Like if I have a husband and wife with 2 children. Do I have to enter them as different contacts and then add them to the invitations?
  5. Have a great time, Mo!! I can't wait to hear all about it, hope everything is seemless for you!
  6. Thanks for the heads up, Stephanie. I am downloading the free trial as we speak.
  7. Great dresses, Shannon! I really like the silhouette (sp?) of the 2nd one.
  8. Thanks, Amy, good to know. I have realllllly behind on my threads so I guess I missed that one. Work is crazy right now and the forum seems to be crazier! 9. Thanks for the update, Julie. I am so doing this. I think I will do a trial run for Matt's cousins wedding this month. Now gotta track down a reasonably priced place near me to do it...

  12. Maria - I was thinking the same thing! 13. Awesome pics! I love the hands in the sand with the rings on them!
  14. That's funny, I am the same way. It's easier to pick one thing and run with it, cuz there are just too many cute ideas! But I do like the idea of alternating tables. How many tables will you have? I like both choices that you have listed though. The first is simple and pretty, the second is colorful and pretty. 15. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. More, more, more!
  16. That is def an idea to consider. I'd just have to find a reputable place to copy the characters from. Mission beginning! As you said that, I could probably also use symbols for words. Double Happiness is a symbol that they decorate the walls with in the banquet area, and I could probably use love, patience, understanding, lust, etc. Great idea, Kate! Thanks! 17. I don't know how I missed this thread previously, but everything looks awesome. I am totally bookmarking the lip balms and soaps page. My sister and I were planning on making them ourselves, but I didn't like how our lip balm trial turned out, so good to have a backup!
  18. I think I am in love with Nash.
  19. I agree with Maria 100%. It looks fantastic. I also liked the last one, I think that would look great on you, but I love the sweetheart neckline on the first. It just looks great everywhere.
  20. I had wanted to get married in February, but my TA convinced me that May had better rates. I don't know if it's true going ot Tulum from Illinois as well, but I am sure your TA (or perhaps Tammy - host) can give you better guidance.
  21. I am so sorry to hear that. That really stinks and is probably so hard to do. What are you options? Have you checked with your vendors to see if they have availabilities perhaps the month before or after? You still have plenty of time to get replacement STD's out if you are moving it up.
  22. Good bump, Paula. I have been wondering about this also. The one I like best is the numbers in the sand for Jamaica, but I will still need something for my AHR...
  23. Love how the pink in the parasol complements the pink in the sky! Great pic!
