I agree that a handwritten note is the way to go. If you break them up into small amounts, it isn't an unmanageable tast. We have just over 300 people on our list and I know I will be writing their notes out. Good luck!

I work just like Drea. I do the posts I have subscribed to first, then check the unread posts. Unless it has been a long time since I have been in, then I check the new posts first to check out what major drama I missed and THEN go check on my subscribed posts! I am never, ever caught up though! I am doing the same thing, kinda. Our AHR will be 2 months after our wedding and we are treating it as a regular reception. We will do the cake cutting, first dance, etc. We will not be doing the bouquet toss or garter toss, just cuz as a personal thing, I don't care for them. Matt does, so we may try to figure out a way to do it w/o making going the traditional route. I dont have any details figured out yet, but I know we will treat it as a regular reception.

Mine are blue (aqua or teal, I guess), orange and fushcia. here is a pick of our std with the orange and blue, and my girls dresses which show the pink and orange.

I am getting worried! Jamy hasn't received my gift! I am tempted to run to the store and rebuy it, but I have to have some patience, as it's only been a week and I am sure the post office is busy. Patience is NOT a virtue that I have ever claimed to have!

Forgot to say, thanks for all your input girls! It really helps to clarify things when so many people give their opinions.

The #1 place I want to go to is a Mexican restaurant that Matt used to work at, called Los Sarapes. They have great food and the best maragaritas ever. The menu they gave me were from $21 to $28/person for a Sunday brunch menu. I just wasn't sure if that is unreasonable or what. There is also an Italian place like a block away from me called La Casetta which is brand new and has a great look to it, but the lowest they quoted was $30/person. I do want to be conscience of my BM's, so we'll see what happens. I just wanted an approximate on what is normal, so I knew if I was being ridic. I was trying to stay below $15/person, but hadn't found ANY that could do that.

I know, I am all scared now that Jamy got my card and not my gift when I mailed the gift a day earlier! I didn't track it or anything. My fingers are crossed!!! I wish I had tracked it. Damn hindsight.
