    Lauren - I agree, I wouldn't write in the journal, except maybe my name, date and location of wedding. I don't really get into that, but I wasn't sure if it should go with the pin for anyone else that it may be passed along to... I think if I find one, i will send it as well, but I won't strss about it. The lady said she was mailing my starfish out on Monday, so hopefully I can get it by next week and pass it along.

    I agree with all said above. I wouldn't give that business more money and I would think she wouldn't want to either. If she chooses to, that is her business and not yours. There are plenty of places you could order your dress from. But really, if you speak to her honestly about it, she would prob understand and could go to another place. It's all in the approach, I think.

    That would not be a problem at all, Jen!! I like the idea of my starfish getting around! I wonder if I should purchase a journal to go along with it.     I feel your pain, Jen! My TA held the room blocks for like 4 months, which was 3 months longer then they originally told me they could hold it. It's been released now for like a month and still no one extra has booked. Yet they keep saying they are going to!!!! I just want the honest "I can make it to the AHR, but not Jamaica". Cuz that's cool wiht me! Arghhhh! I totally feel your pain!

    Lauren - did you get it figured out yet? I ordered mine last week and should be getting in any day now, so I can always give mine to you (it's blue) and you can get it back to me before May. That's plenty of time. And it can be your something borrowed AND your something blue!!

    I purchased mine from - Simply Flowers - Products - Bouquet Jewels - hers was the same as some others, but slightly less expensive and cheaper shipping.

    I second what was said above. If you don't normally send thank you notes for Christmas gifts, I don't think it is necessary now. Also, I think one thank you to your parents when all is over, is enough. As well as saying thank you along the way, of course.

    Nothing but excitement from people in the beginning "Oh, I can't wait to come!" or "Vacation in Jamaica, here we come!!!" or "I wouldn't miss it for the world!". Then reality sets in and everyone excuses begin. Granted some are valid excuses. It's just hard to hear Yes, Yes, YES! And then Maybe. No. Blah.
