  1. I am wearing a veil - 108 inches long. I will be making it, had the material for sooooo long, just need to sew it onto the comb. I want something long and dramatic, but that won't take away from the detail on my dress, so it will be just tulle, no embellishments. I will post pics as soon as I finish making it...
  2. Thanks for the feedback, ladies. I will pass along the info...
  3. They are a company that provides music, photog and videographer for one set price. My friend wants to use them, the price is good and she is on a budget (like most brides!), but she isn't sure and thought perhaps you ladies might be able to offer advice. 4. How cool, Sarah! Congrats on the business and you can expect to be getting a request from me sometime after our AHR in July. I always loved what you've done on here, so can't wait to see what you can do for me!
  5. I just ordered it now. I hope it gets here soon though, cuz I need to get on the ball and get them amiled out!
  6. Hahahaa, sounds fun! I didn't know you could order a sample pack, I am going to check that out right now.... If anyone else has one and can chime in, please do!
  7. I lvoe that look as well, I was thinking of just making them myself. Purchasing them WOULD be much easier though...
  8. Re: Vistaprint, I was looking into having them printed there and treated as a flyer, which is 8 1/2 by 11. I just wasn't sure of the quality of the paper. I want mine printed on natural paper, not white, so I have to check into that...
  9. Damn, Trish, I didn't know that could happen with a laser printer as well. I want to get them printed asap so i can get to cutting. I am going to do some checking into the sites that James (Be Photog) suggested above and see how that works out. Thanks, James!
  10. There are a few thread on here (as posted above) that talk about this issue. The general consensus was not to use them, but there are a few people who do and are happy with them. I hired and fired them, so my personal opinion is to use a TA that has experience with DW's. There are a few on this board as well as the host.
  11. Everything looks great and so ready for Jamaica! I totally jsut stole your hair inspriation pics of Britney Murphy, love it. Congrats!
  12. Man, I missed the thread to vote! At least I had remembered to nominate some ladies though! Congrats Tami and Melissa!
  13. I am so happy everything worked out for you, Lizz!! The new dress looks fantastic!
  14. Yeah, I have used Vistaprint, but I didn't think they would do something like this. I will check into them right now, cuz the laser print does look so much nicer then the ink jet... Have you looked into a local print shop. I know the other members highly recommend Vistaprint. I will also check into this dye-sublimation thing you mentioned. I never heard of it either, so I am interested to see what it is... We use Adorama.com alot, and their quality is excellent. - not to mentio the prices are very cheap! Just a thought for you! - let me know if you have any questions that I Can help out with.
  15. So to keep a long story short, Matt and I were going to buy a laser printer to do our boarding pass invitations since Kinko's was charging over $500 to print them, we figured we might as well have the printer to use after the fact at that price. So we went out for a laser and came home with an ink jet. Matt thinks it isn't a big deal and doesn't see the difference between how the two print. I explained about the running/bleeding an ink jet could do, etc. We decided to try it on the ink jet and see how it works and worse comes to worse, we go back to Kinko's to have them print it cuz the ink jet was fairly inexpensive. Can anyone else tell me if you used an ink jet for your invites? And did they turn out ok or did you wish you had used a laser
  16. Have a beautiful; and carefree day, Paula!
  17. Oh, Erica, I LOVE the yellow one! OMG, is there any reason why I would need this dress, cuz I am totally tempted to order it up.
  18. Cool, my sis and I are planning on mkaing a bunch of stuff like this for the OOT bags and possibly for shower favors, so this is great. We can add to all of the other wonderful recipes to choose from!
  19. She's lucky to have you, Mo, you're sweet. I dont know if I could've sucked it up like that.
  20. I am so pissed that there are no Hobby Lobbys in PA! I always here girls on here talk about that place and it seems awesome, great prices!
  21. YOU? Man, I was like hyperventilating! And it's the 1st of the month, like my busiest and most stressful day of the month (and I am spending way too much time on here today!), so I was going crazy for a minute!
  22. Thanks, Christina! I tried the repair software anyway and it did get some of the text, like ticket 3 of 6, thw wording. I am just glad I only have to make minor changes before ready to print.
  23. Oh YAY! I found a copy from 12/29 on my email sent folder. So that isn't so bad at all! Omg, thank god that freak out is over.
