I don't think you can change your usename after one of the last forum upgrades... I've felt all along that this was a boy too, but now that I'm further, I'm less sure. I will be happy with either b/c I know that either way will be great, but I have a bajillion girl names and we don't have one boy name we like. We both have a few that are ok to one of us, but the other disagrees. I'm having dinner with my closest friends (who are all over an hour away, so that doesn't happen often!) next weekend, so hopefully I can finda tactful way to talk about it by then. I'm delivering in a hospital with a midwife with hopes for as natural a birth as you can get, but I'm open to epidurals, etc. I don't want to make a huge commitment in my head to either way and feel disappointed in myself later. I mean, I've never felt a contraction before, so how can I know how I'll handle it? Some days, I'm 95% sure I can go natural and other days, I'm 95% sure I want an epi, so I guess it depends on how strong I'm feeling that day! What about you?

Yeah, we're the 28th as well and I'm really hoping Matt decided he wants to know. I honestly don't know how I'll wait another month. A friend shower would be nice, but it's not like I can tell them they have to, ya know? They'll have to figure it out themselves. It just sucks b/c I'd so much rather cut family (is it too mean to admit that mostly his family?) and include all my friends. My weeks change on Friday morning, so I'm currently in my 20th week, will turn to the 21st on Friday. Will also start my 6th month on Friday! But I've been reading that 3rd tri doesn't start until 26-28 week, so that's a tad later then I expected. Oh well, I'm just glad that everything has been as smooth as it's been!

No, not high risk anymore. It started out that way b/c of the past history of ectopics, but once all was confirmed well and implanted in the uterus, I was transferred to my regular midwife and everythings been great since. We have our 20w ultrasound next Monday, it's a little late, but I wanted my husband to be there. We're bringing our moms too, so they're super excited. But Matt wants to wait until birth to find the sex out and I just can't wait that long. So our current compromise is that we will not find out on Monday but have them write it down for us and we'll open it on Christmas morning and share with our families then too. I'm kind of hoping that it'll bring some much needed joy to a day that is sure to be hard for all of us. And my family shower is planned for 02/12, which all the sudden seems to close! Our families are both really big, so we ended up having to cut all my friends from the list, which I'm really disappinted about, but what can you do. Our final list after cuts was 93 so breaking off the 30ish friends made it much more manageable. And don't worry about sharing yours after mine! I certainly hope that's not why not that many others have chimed in. I know my story is a rough one, but for some reason problems with infertility are hush-hush and I thought starting with mine would help others share. I hadn't thought of it having the opposite effect. I wish more people had stories like yours!

I'm the same as you with advice. You can take it or leave it online, but in person, there's something that can be judgemental or something about it. Your love story sounds like a movie, I'm glad that everything fell into place so easily for you!

I agree with majority, if you can do it, that would be so fun! If not, don't stress over it.

I have a new boy name to add to the list. I was at my cousins baby shower this past weekend and she's kind of in the same situation, but they are opposite. Meaning she married a first generation Italian as well, and she's all Irish, but her hubbie is pushing for super Italian names and she doesn't feel right since she's Irish. She said that right now, he's pushing Vincent but she don't like Vin/Vinny/Vince and I said yeah, I can see that, but you could name him Vincenzo and call him Enzo - and then I slapped Jill and said, oh shit, I just found my name! My cousin was telling me to shush with the Italian version b/c she didn't want it, so I told her I'm totally stealing it and putting it on my list. So Vincenzo (Enzo for short) is my current #1. And of course, Matt doesn't love it b/c there's a cousin Vince. But we would use Enzo, not Vin/Vinny/Vince. What about anyone else, got any baby names you want to discuss?

I love that action shot, it's so fun! And I agree with you that spontaneous is so much better then posed. I'm not a fan of myself in pictures, but when someone catches me randomly, those shots are always so much more relaxed and photogenic.

Love the personalization that you did! And I like all your contents too. I ended up putting so much junk in my bags that I regretted not spending a tad more on better stuff, so I think you did a great job.

Who is in charge of playing the music? It might make it easier to have those songs in their own playlist, like "ceremony songs" or "intro songs" or something. We did use special songs when we used the ipod and just had a playlist of all the good songs called "wedding" and we skipped around as we needed or wanted. I would talk to the person responsible for playing the right song as the right time. If it's your WC, she might have suggestions on what works best for her (so it doesn't get messed up).

Ugh, your sister seems very unhappy with herself. I would take a deep breath and try to continue as you have portrayed that you are acting - continue being the bigger person. One thing I'v learned (but it's a hard lesson) is that we can't control anyone but ourselves. So let her do her thing and you keep doing yours. It sucks to have that tension, but it won't solve anything if you feed into it and start fighting/arguing about it. That all being said about being the bigger person, the whole situation sucks!
