So it's been months since I started my version of the boarding pass invites and I finally just closed up the envelopes tonight and they are getting mailed out tomorrow. I am a few weeks behind schedule on that, but whatever. Here are some pics. (They appear weird in my camera, so I am going to post a bunch and then remove the ones that look weird on here.) So people don't have to read everything, here is a response to someone inquiry as to where I purchased the paper - I ordered the orange (flame) and blue (lagoon) metallic paper from paperpresentation.com. They were delivered superfast too! Rachel, can you send me some of your chill-ness? You said the other day, you are the most chill bride, and I totally agree. I am too much of a control freak and I can't beleive I am as behind as I am!

I know and the worst part about that is, he was telling the other bride on here who contacted him, that they had everything in stock, but it might go on backorder cuz they were popular. How about they MIGHT cuz they already ARE! That punkacheen.

I am right there with you. I didn't even mail out hte invites yet! but that should happen tomorrow. I had completely forgotten directions to the AHR, so I printed them today, then I need to cut them and stuff them. I hope to work my fingers off tonight and complete it. There is so much to do still. My sister and I are making the flowergirl dresses and we have the fabric and pattern and haven't even begun cutting (we have 2 to make). Oh yeah, and I am making all the OOT bags. Like sewing them from scratch. They are all cut and put together, I just need to sew them, so I hope thye just zip right along. Lots of other stuff, but I am going to stop there before I have a heart attack.

And yet another site that I bookmarked... I think I should make this myself, but with all the other stuff, who has time!

Funny, I guess elevators have good lighting. I hardly ever take the elevator at work, but when I do, and if I am alone, I jsut play wiht it and make it shine all over. I bet there is a camera in there and whoever has to watch it is like, this girl must be kidding me.

I totally feel your pain, Heidi! Matt and I just started talking about beginning to look now, and unless you have like $300k at least you can't live in the suburbs. Unless you go reallllllly far out. I already travel about 1.5 hours to work daily, no way I am making that commute longer! I can't wait to begin the search for real, but I think it's going to have a lot of heartache and be a pain in the ass! Good luck though, cuz there ARE some nice houses for cheap out there, they are just few and far between..

That is what we are doing as well. I just went to the thrift store and grabbed a few polaroid cameras from there. Now my problem is finding film... But I like the idea of b&w, hadn't thought of that...

The darn lady canceled cuz it "might" snow. I was so pissed! She canceled last Friday cuz it did snow (a whole 2-3 inches!) and then this week cuz it might? So we aren't going to her and I think we've found a lady that we will go to on Mondays evenings now, beginning next week, I think. Thanks for following up! I will def post after our first class, whenver that may be!

WARNING: Trisha and I placed a 500+ order with this company and are having an extremely hard time getting any responses from them. They no longer answer their phone and we've sent numberous emails with no response. Please DO NOT use this vendor, or be forewarned if you choose to do so. Right now, FashionUnic has about $100 that they haven't sent the goods to us for. I forgot to mention that we actually had to resort to threatening that we will contact the BBB if we don't hear from them by Wednesday.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, we cannot get a response from our contact at FashionUnic and Trisha and I had to resort to threatening legal action. They no longer answer their phone and we've sent numberous emails with no response. Please DO NOT use this vendor, or be forewarned if you choose to do so. We will keep everyong involved in what action we need to take and we are exploring other options at this point to see what we can do for the girls who have paid. Right now, FashionUnic has about $100 that they haven't sent the goods to us for. The second shipment hasn't been shipped to us, but we also haven't paid for it yet, so we are looking into other places that we might be able to find pashminas. We are sorry to everyone involved, but want to keep you all in the loop since you've already paid. You can PM Trisha or myself with any questions or concerns. Blah, this sucks.
