Our order is done and since our weddings will be over, we won't be participating in another order. However, if you are interested, I know a bunch of other brides are trying to get together to do another bulk purchase. Erin (jamaicabride06210 started a thread with "pashmina" in the title, if you do a search for it. We advised not to use our vendor though, as we have had nothing but problems with him. A friend of mine is a photographer and used to take BD photos. She is trying to get back into it and is trying to get a group together to shoot in the first week of May. She will be scheduling 2 hours for each bride over the course of two days (May 5 & 6) at Loews Hotel. This would include hair and make-up, as well as outfit changes for whatever you bring with you. Post in this thread if you are interested or PM me if you want. I am not going to post the price, cuz I didn't ask her if that was ok, but I would def tell anyone that asks individually. I had a similar situation (only in the part where some important people to me can't go to the acutal wedding), we solved it by having a bridal party, and then I have 4 honorary bridesmaids. These 4 girls I have known for between 15-20 years, and it didn't seem right to disinclude them just cuz they couldn't make Jamaica work. They are participating in the shower and everything and they will wear a different BM dress from my regular BM's at the AHR and will partake in the formal pictures and everything. You could do something similar to that. Since they are throwing tyou a shower, ask them to be your honorary bm, just as you would to be your bm. I think that is a sweet gesture that would ring true to your friendship.

Well we all know how important wedding dresses are, so while I think the dress is beautiful, I think you should look into selling it. I am so sorry that it didn't work out!

Ok, I just called (and called and called) until it wasn't busy and finally got thru to our guy there. I gave him my credit card info and verified that he would be making the shipment TODAY. I will believe it when I see it, but I didn't want the fact that he no longer had my billing information on file (like, where'd it go, since you only snet us 1/2 of our order). I will be glad to be done with this guy!
