  1. So I happened upon another idea for things in a BD shoot - a cute little pillow. The one I saw was a beautiful green silk pillow that had ruffles.
  2. Yayyyyyyyy, Jen!!!! So excited for you! Have a wonderful wedding! Take care of that starfish.
  3. Awwwww. At least you let him know right away that it was a joke. I played a mean joke on my ex one year and then I left for 2 hours to get my hair done, so he was flipping for those two hours. I did feel bad afterwards though. Perhaps brining home a treat tonight will help him see thaty ou realized after he fact that it was a kind of scary joke.
  4. I am not sure what I would do here. You could make a note on the outer envelope that the RSVP would be $0.01 short due to postage increases that haven't taken place yet. Or what about doing something similar to what Abbie said, and double stick the $0.01 stamp to the outer envelope, then cover it with a pretty scrap of paper and put a note saying "Postage Increase Stamp $0.01 found here" You might even be able to do that in Word or something so it would look like postage writing...
  5. That is absolutely gorgeous. Like I might have to fly over there and steal it.
  6. Men just get sensitive over things. You should plan a girls night to discuss with your girls and then tell him to plan a guys night (+ one girl - YOU!) so you can give them the heads up. Or you can just send email. I love sending emails, cuz it's a great tracking method.
  7. Wow, sometimes people are just crazy. But why couldn't she call you herself? That's weird in itself.
  8. If you do a search for boarding pass template, you will get tons of samples to download. Quote: Originally Posted by morenaindc Your boarding passes look wonderful! Do you mind sharing your template with me? My email address is [email protected]
  9. I agree, lace #1. So funny that your inspiration pic was the one I used for so long until I found a dress that wouldn't look good with a mantilla :-( Great choice, I love it!
  10. Love your idea, Morgan! Also, love sexy texts. When I first met Matt, we had various types of sex everywhere and anywhere. We were quite the exhibisionists. So the hottest texts for him to receive from me state those crazy places that we did things. I don't even need to say anything other then "Franklin Institute" before he get's all hot and bothered. Also, I agree with the "tell yourself you are sexy" cuz it def helps the confidence. I changed two of my body piercings this week and it totally made me horny. Just the change, was a total turnon. So apparently, I need to change my body piercings more often! It appears that the majority of us have body issues and that is why sex is hurting. Along with BC. I wish I could go to a hypnotist and have them hypnotize me into being confident and liking to exercise and liking veggies. That'd be great.
  11. Hahhahaaa, Morgan, that's great. Just about everything Rachel posts cracks me up. But I actually have to work hard today, being the 1st of the month and all.
  12. Erin - that is funny, I knew I recoginzed "toxic friend" from somewhere! Loved that season. Danielle - wow. This girl is totally jealour and trying to upstage you. I don't have much to add, but what a b-i-t-c-h! I agree with the price list thing - unless you do want to continue the friendship. Cuz if you do, then that might cause some unnecessary drama.
  13. Is there anything we can do for you, Tami? I am not that creative, but I am persistant. I have 6 weeks till my wedding and I am kinda freaking out as well, so I can totally understand were you are coming from. Whatever you need, we are here for you! Put us b*tches to work!
  14. I guess I jumped the gun on Heidi's thread, huh. At least I am not the only impatient one around here!!! We love our fellow BDW'ers! OMG, Leia, I just want to squeeze your dog to pieces!! So cute!
  15. I am boring and always just write our names. But someone wrote a note on our boarding passes that she didn't want to return the rsvp cuz she was too busy showing off the invites to everyone she knew. It was nice.
  16. Mo, I think that is the perfect way to tell him!!! Quote: Originally Posted by MoWife Thanks girls! I did use the digital test and saw the word pregnant. What do you think? Did I mention I'm supposed to go to classes tonight? I guess I'm missing because I want to plan this out. Thanks again ladies. I love that I can come on here and tell you stuff I can't tell anyone else. You're the best!
  17. Thanks, Angela. See, though, that's the trouble. If I didn't think it ws perfect, I wouldn't've bought it, just like yours is perfect for you. I am just scared that it isn't going to be perfect for him. Ya know what I mean? Then I also know that they love us and they are marrying us and they don't care what we wear! Most likely, they think all the dresses look the same anyway! Girls are such over-anaylzers.
  18. Re: that the test might not be right - I think that due to the hormones that are in your body once pregnant, you can have a false negative, but not a false positive. SO CONGRATS!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! I am not really creative, but I know that no matter how you tell, your hubbie is going to be ecstatic!!!
  19. That def is bad timing on your germs part. A quiet house and you are too sick to enjoy it? Hope you feel better soon!
  20. I know right! She cracks me up, it's obvious that she isn't around. At least she has a good excuse for now! Pretty soon, we are going to bang down her virtual door!
  21. Christa - the power struggle thing is so true for me too! I have good intentions alot of times, then he calls me to tell me he is going to a friends house or to the bar after work and then I am all salty. And then exactly what you said happens! He complains and I say, well if you had come home yesterday.... And then I get pissed & don't want to just give it up because he threw a fit, especially since I had great intentions the day before. Whew! Then the cycle continues. I think there is def a lot to be said for psyching yourself out a bit. If I spend some time focusing on sexy thoughts, then I can feel the drive revving up. But I forget to do this. It seems like life just gets so complicated for us. Women see things in mulit-dimensional layers & we think about it all - all the time! Men are so linear & "single minded" - it's hard for them to appreciate how our brains are constantly on over load.
  22. You could probably get a regular lenght dress and have it hemmed down. That might give youmore options. Have you looked into that?
