  1. Oh my. That is horrible! I would ask her what your options are. I don't think you should stick withthis place that doubled their prices 3 months out. But that's just me and sometimes I do things to spite. Perhaps a TA can chime in with some options for you.
  2. I don't think I knew about them until this forum. My sister got a gift when she had her kids, but there was no title. It wasn't until this forum that I heard it called a "push present".
  3. Oh, I feel your pain. I too have a weakness for sweets. But it's worse if I smell bacon, I swear I think I could eat it three times a day and then again for dessert. Donut Friday would be so hard for me!
  4. Oh yeah, I already showed Matt what I want my first push present to be! Sure, sure, babies are great and wonderful presents, but so is jewelry! Hahahaaa I found a band that I love, but it didn't go with my ering, so I told him I want it after we have a baby. And I agree - I thought celebs donated money from pics and stuff. Cuz what else could they need?
  5. No problem! That's what we are here for and why this forum is such a valuable place for all us bride-to-be's!
  6. Sorry I couldn't match the green. Morgan might find this thread and be able to work some magic for you, she's really good at that stuff...
  7. Hmmmm, I searched thru and I couldn't find the bride either. There were only a few posts that listed those locations, but none included the boarding pass attachments. OK, I kinda suck at editing things, and I don't have any special software, so maybe someone else can do it better. My computer didn't have a green to match...
  8. If you can post a picture, you might be able to get someone to remove the stars. Or even contact the bride for her help, if she is still around.
  9. Do you guys have a time figured out? I wasn't originally committing to this b/c I wasn't sure if we would have the time. Matt works on Saturdays, so I was wondering if the timing would work. We are a few hours from NYC, so is the meetup for Saturday evening?
  10. Danielle - I loved that one! Cuz it was just plain silly and fun. There was really no messing that up, cuz all they needed was the right attitude and they had it! So fun to watch.
  11. Carrie - I am not sure, I don't know how long patterns stay around. But I will say that we registered probably in September-ish. If you are really concerned, I would email or contact BBB and see what they say. Picking the colors that we wanted was SO hard for me!!! I was tempted to get all the colors, but it wouldn't evenly work out. I realllllllly loved the gold colored one, but Matt didn't. So I gave him that one. Gotta let'em win sometimes. 12. I was going to say Old Navy as well. They have a bunch of long and flowey dresses.
  13. We got engaged 3 days after our 1st anniversary in December 2006(same night we met). We knew in March that we would be getting married and we bought the ring in September, but there were some issues, so it wasn't really until December. When we get married (next month!!) it will be exactly 2 years and 5 months since our blind date.
  14. We registered for both, jic. The china is not something I think we would use often, but Matt's family is pretty fancy and they use it. So I figured to register for it and we'll see what happens. Here is our daily wear that we registered for all from BBB... And the china...
  15. Funny, I just emailed my WC (at a diff resort though) to see a list of steel drum songs, so I am going to check some of these out.
  16. Oh, I like Jessica Alba, but I am not crazy about Honor. Too soap-operish.
  17. Then that is awesome!! Yay, for you! I know how much you wanted to do a special dance.
  18. I see where you are coming from. My first thought is that it is sweet for you and FH, but I wonder what the other guests would think. Who cares what the other guests think! Would he love it? If so, then do it. I could never, so more power to ya!
  19. While I know from previous posts, that you would enjoy that and it would be awesome, I also remember that you FI doesn't like to dance. Would he be willing to do this? If you are both all for it, I say have a blast! But, your groom needs to be comfortable for his first dance.
  20. Danielle, i think there are lots of great options here. Morgan - you make me wish I was having a wedding day and marraige day! That sounds so romantic the way you describe it.
  21. Awww, so it's my fault? So sorry! Spending an extra $40 on paper does really suck. Hey, at least they are quick. There's one good thing.
