Colonix. Turn back now or forever hold your peace.

I only did the 30 days and honestly, I was ready to be done with it by then. Drinking some nasty thing in the morning, taking big pills and then drinking a tea at night. I was just over it. -
Colonix. Turn back now or forever hold your peace.

Hmmm, well it didn't seem anything unnatural to me when I did it and it did in fact make me feel better and cleaner. Def less bloated. And my stomach hurts all the time, like whenever I eat. All of those stomach problems were less then. Actually, I think they remain less. I don't know much about these kinds of things, but we as humans don't eat very well (most of us anyway). Our bodies aren't built to handle all the crap that we eat, so it makes sense to me that we might need an occasional cleansing to assist getting rid of the things that our bodies have trouble with. Like I said, I am not very knowledgable about this, cuz I didn't even do the research. SOmeone on here posted it and I went "oh cool! I could lose the bloated look? iI'll try that!" But I think it was a good thing. -
Thank you so much Rebecca! That's going to be an increble help to me!

Holy shit, I wonder if that's true. My spring allergies haven't hit me yet, which is fricking weird. Usually I am sneezing 20+ times a day. I havne't sneezed 20 times in the past week! Quote: Originally Posted by Maura ...lessened her allergies... I wouldn't say that the pictures are 100% accurate, but they give a clue. Out of the group on here that did it together this past time, I think I was the only one who had weird ones sometimes. It wasn't everytime, and it still occasionally happens now (Matt and I continued the fiber drink in the morning part, which seems to also help.) Quote: Originally Posted by Saraha For those of you who have done it, are the pictures as true as they say they are? LOL sorry! Oh and Maura is right, for me at least. There was no emergencies or accidents, or even near accidents. I travel over 1.5 hours to work in the morning and one morning i made the mistake of drinking my fiber at home and my the time I got to work, I really had to go to the bathroom and was a little crampy, but I shouldn't've drank it knowing I was going to have to take a dump! So I woulnd't really worry about it. Plus it's really clean poo, which is interesting. (I never thought I would be so freely discussing my shit. I make Matt go to the fartherst place in the house from the bathroom when I have to go and most of the time I run the shower too. I have a bashful bowel. hahahaaa) -

I think that's a great idea, Maura. I already completed mine, but I am really glad I did it. There were a few of us that did it in like maybe Jan-Mar sometime. Matt even did it with me! (Sounds dirty, doesn't it? Well, ok, it IS dirty, but not in the same way, ahahaha) I miss the "empty" feeling that I had and will probably do it again in a few months. It is good to have support and a place to go to talk about poop and not have people get mad. Like if you don't want to hear about poop, say away from the Colonix threads! Reader be warned. -
Thanks so much, Maura. I know that every bride before me has said the same thing, but I'd really be a wreck w/o you girls!

Thanks Lauran, I had a mouthful of food that almost got spit on my screen! Quote: Originally Posted by lauren c. but now i'm bored, and ready for my bil to propose to his skank of a gf so i can help plan that one.

Yeah, we've been engaged for 1.5 years, but I only started planning a year ago about, so I guess 1 year is the time limit. After that, your fried. I know I became decision fried-out a monht or so ago. I couldn't even pick one thing out myself. I can't wait to be the advice giver! Anyways, when you come home you won't know what to do with yourself. I kept trying to remember what I was forgetting to do because it just felt like I should be planning something. THen I remembered that I was married. Now I just enjoy my role on the forum as "advice/joke" giver. haha it's fun to be part of the married crowd.

We will be there from the 14th to the 23rd and we decided to stay at Beaches the whole time. I am lazy and didn't want to have to pack up all my shilz and move to another place and learn everything all over again. What days will you be there? We should go shopping or something together while we are there! AFTER the weddings of course, so we can be calm about it. Quote: Originally Posted by Lizz Carly, how long are you staying down there? I'm giddy for you!!! Sadly, it actually does make me feel better. Nice to know you aren't alone when you are freaking out. Let us know if you need a super-slueth to step in and locate somethings for you. Having this wedding has turned me into an absolute internet shopping whore. I buy everything. At least 1 thing a day! Hhahahahaaa, mostly cheap stuff, but still! Quote: Originally Posted by JamaicaBride062108 Carly I feel that way all the time, except I feel like I'm not prepared! LOL If it's this bad now, I can't imagine what I will be like when the ticker is down to days! I can't sleep as it is! I don't know if that makes you feel better, but at least you aren't alone!

Ummm, coming from the chillest bride ever? I don't think there was one thing you were worried about! But I am hoping that is what happens, that once its happening, I can go with the flow and relax. It's only when I realize that the time is runing out and I kinda freak. I think alot of it has to do wtih work though. There is so much I need to do here before I can leave! I can't wait to have NOTHING to do. I know I will quickly miss having something crafty to do, or shopping to be done, but I think I will really nejoy the few weeks right after the wedding.

I know exciting and yet terrifying. I haven't been around the forum lately, to catch up on random things that need to be done, sorting the gifts the shower (which STILL isn't done!), and then getting my work ready to be w/o me for 2+ weeks. Man, I am going crazy in a great way, but it's also frustrating that the days are only 24 hours and that I like to actually sleep at least 8. Hhahahahaa
-
Know that feeling when you almost get into a car accident? Where your body turns to jello and your arms and legs kinda quiver and feel weak? Ok, that just happened to me when I saw my ticker. Holy shit. I am totally prepared (I think anyway), but kinda freaking out internally. 23 days. Wow.

BTB - Maura for always being so helpful and assisting me on my shower thank you postcards Mrs - Rachel for ALWAYS making a thread worth reading

My friend Elaine always thought her middle name was Marie, cuz that is what some paperwork said, but then a few years ago, she found out it was Maria. Not quite as bad as yours, but similar! Can't wait to hear the explanation

Welcome to the forum, Carly! (Feels weird to say "Carly" to another person...)

Actually, I used to have 2 ferrets! Oscar and Herb, they were awesome. I just read the ferrets post today (cracking up the entire time!), but didn't have a chance to respond. I love me some animals wearing clothes, nothing cuter then that. Quote: Originally Posted by Morgan What are you guys too good for ferrets? We've moved on to hamsters anyway.
