    Great job, Jessica! Everything looks great. I do have to say that I wsa confused on who JessicaM was though, until I opened it and remembered all your stuff and figured you must be chprfn or somehting close to that. Have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon!

    I totally made myself that same promise and then broke it over and over. It was so hard! It started out as a "i need to add this", "I need to change this", etc. Then when I would see things gone, I would get so excited, like "someone loves me, yay!" that I would need to check it again. It did become an obsession. The way I feel about it now is, you asked for x,y,z by registering for it. So it isn't like it's a surprise when someone actually buys yous x, so why not keep tabs if it makes you happy? Planning a wedding is stressdul, give yourself this one treat!

    Right now, I wish we hadn't chosen to do this either, but like Angela said about the Italian mother... My family is big (but Irish) and Matt's family is bigger and kinda old-school Italian, and it's mostly immigrants in the older generation. So not having a reception was just not an option. And doing something lowkey wasn't going to work with his side of the family either. The only thing I can't wait for, is the photography. Since we didn't do a prof photog in Jamaica, I can't wait to have real wedding photos!

    We are doing the whole sha-bang. We have about 270 people, possibly more or less, since we are still in the process of calling all the people that never responded. We hired a prof photog, a DJ, the bridal party will be wearing their clothes again. The only thing that will set this AHR apart is the fact that we will have been married for almost 2 months by then. Everything else is the same.

    Matt makes slightly less then me on a "paycheck" scale, but since he is a hairdresser in his family owned salon, he brings home LOTS in tips. He will eventually take over the salon and perhaps I will step in as business manager, and we should both make way more money then. At least those are our hopes, since I want to stay home when we decide to have kids in a few years.

    Interesting topic. I am jealous of so many of you high-earners. I am an accountant at a University and I made a little over $50k, and that's with no degree. I think I do pretty well for myself in an area that usually requires a degree. I take night courses, but it will take years to complete a BA, so I really wish I had buckled down when I was in college and completed it.

    Honestly, Alyssa, if you didn't freak out with all the drama that you have already encountered losing the place and all, it was bound to happen! You are super-organized and I know everything will work out fine. To tell you the truth, alot of the little things that I did went unnoticed, I know everyone says that, but just to reinforce that fact. Def let us Philly girls if you need any help with anything.

    How cute are you? What a great review of makeup! Wish I had it before my wedding, although mine worked out jsut fine. I have serioulsy buckets and buckets of makeup and I only wear mascara, eye-liner and chapstick. Occasionally gloss. I always hate what I buy, so some guidance would've been helpful.
