Oh, I am so happy for Ellen and Portia! I don't really have personal feelings about Portia, except she has great hair, but Ellen cracks me up. I love it when she dances. Perhaps it is time the bible updated to include the happiness of ALL.

Thanks, Rach. She did photoshop a bunch of them. They were all in color to begin with, so she changed some to chocolate or lighten the colors in others. I love everything she did and now am excited to go buy photoshop at some point so I can work wonders like she did! And I will tell you what I always tell Matt - Cute is for puppies and babies, I want to be sexy!

I am still undecided since my AHR is the next night and it depends on how smoothly all the final touches (really all the touches, since I havent' really done ANYTHING yet for the AHR, whoooops!), but it next week goes smooth with everything, I will check back in and find out where you guys are going.

I am ecstatic! I was going to do a slideshow for my AHR in 2 weeks, by just dumping my photos into something and lettting it just go. Making no effort at all, when Melissa offered to put something together for me since she had the software. I jumped on that chance and I am so happy I did! I just love this forum and how nice and willing to help everyone always is. She has worked her butt off and I couldn't be happier! I wasn't going to put too much time into this project cuz I didn't have the tools or the time, but she played around with the colors of photos and everything, and I just thnk it's awesome! So I bought my starfish pin and used it in our actual wedding, then passed it along to Abbie as planned. I wasn't going to use a bouquet for my AHR, but now my mom has talked me into it for the photo part and I don't want to buy a new pin just for that. (Although, I will check craft stores this weekend to see if there is anything I could make into it.) I thought maybe someone might want to lend me there's, preferably a blue one. My AHR is July 12th, so it's kinda last minute, but I wasn't thinking I was going to use flowers. Can anyone help a bride in need?

My AHR is the next night, so I really doubt I will have time to go into the city that night. I will keep my options open though, so if it works out I can come. But I have to make 300 Bamboo favor plants (among other stuff) and I don't want to commit to something and then be a no-show.

Ya know, sometimes men just say things that they don't mean. Like last night, Matt and I were getting snippy with each other and he said "Shit, if this is what it's like to be married..." And I got all mad, like "what, you don't want to be married to me?" But in reality, we were just not happy at the moment and he said something hurtful. Sometimes it's as simple as that. But I agree with all that has been said - def take time off the wedding talk. Don't continue just b/c other people made deposits. Take some time for yourselves. Good luck!
