  1. I thnk it is a little too early to buy anything, but since you have extenuating circumstances (3 different countries involved!), it isn't too early to start looking. But you might want to look into getting something custom made. Or just find a designer that carries the color that you want and let the girls pick a dress.
  2. I only saw one episode, but I know some people that are hooked. Those kids are the cutest ever though.
  3. I will check that website out, jic. I really just wish I could find a dang store! Darn, the 1st pair that I liked and clicked on starts at size 6.
  4. Thanks for the offer, Heather! That's really nice of you. I haven't worn an adidas since shelltops in highschool, so I have no idea how they woudl fit me. I will have to check them out. For some reason I gravitate towards Nike's... Quote: Originally Posted by *Heather* I can get you adidas running shoes in a 5 or 5.5 - I'm assuming by sneaker you mean running shoes, like gym shoes? I wasn't trying to buy online though, cuz I need to try them on. My feet are small, but they are high, so sometimes I need a bigger size to accommodate my instep. I know, I am so gald to have small feet. It's the one thing that I totally love about my body! But that place sounds super cool, I am going to look them up right now. They can be pricey depending on the type of shoe you pick, but at least you know you are getting the right shoe. I would always buy cheap gym shoes and now that I have been fitted I know what the right shoe is. It makes a big difference. I am scared to buy sneaks online, since I really want them for comfort so I can begin taking long walks (hopefully working my way up to jogs!) 5. Seriously, how? Shoe stores carry women's size 5 and 5.5 in regular shoes, but the sneakers always start at 6. Yeah, that flops off my damn foot like a clown shoe! (Ok, so maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but whatever, they don't fit me!) So I move on over to the children's department and they have a size 3 (slightly too small) and a five (even bigger then the adults 6, i swear). No 3.5, 4 or 4.5 in sight ANYWHERE, not even in ugly shoes so I can find my real size. I haven't bought a real sneaker in years. I usually buy whatever is cute and cheap when I am in Target or some equal-type store. So where in the hell can a girl find adult sneakers in size 5, I ask? The children's don't have the styles that I would want, but I would suck it up, if they had the damn size I needed. But they don't, which makes me want to hold out for a womens, but I have no idea where to even start looking! Any ideas ladies?
  6. Oh, I love the second one! I hate to be the one to say you should be a 2 dress bride, but I realllllllly like the 2nd one.
  7. Ok, so I couldn't even finish reading the first post, cuz it freaked me out too much. I take the train to and from work every day and since it's over an hour ride, I am sleeping like 90% of the time. I mostly sit next to my mom, since we both work at the Univ, but when I don't, I could get my head chopped off Holy shit. that's damn scary.
  8. Wow, that really stinks for her. But i have to say that i had a mini heart-attack at first, cuz i thought it was YOUR dress, like you still needed it. Thank goodness you got INS though!
  9. I second the "try to make them yourself". You will save a ton of money. At least check out a few of the templates on here and see if it is something you could do. I had alot of fun designing mine and am SO glad that I did it myself and saved the money. I get tons of compliments on them still and they were sent like 6 months ago! But if DIY isn't your thing, Sarah is great, and the ones that dmarie posted were really nice too, so you have options to order them. Also check out Aylee Designs, I am pretty sure she does them for order.
  10. Ab - no rush, it will only be going into my scrapbook stuff now, I think anyway, so no worries!
  11. Oh Maura, I am so excited for you! You've done such a great job pulling everything together and I can't wait to see the final results! Have a wonderful time in MX!
  12. Damn, Jac, I hope it all works out ok! That's crazy. (I tried calling you at work about something else and was wondering where the hell you were!) Btw - wtf, this can't be right, right? Older people, over 30?! Jerk-article-writer-dude! Quote: Originally Posted by Jacqueline ...It is common for people to see floaters particularly older people, over the age of 30 or so...
  13. Ditto. But honestly, I don't even remember it, so not sure that i tmatters too much. Quote: Originally Posted by foxytv Adam Sandler - "I Wanna Grow Old With You"
  14. I noticed the same thing with me when I gained weight a few years ago. I had always been on the skinny side and I wore a size 5 or 5.5 shoe. Then I had gained weight and my shoes didn't fit. Then when I would buy new ones, they'd be like a 6.5!!! Then when I lost weight again, went back down to my regular. Body works in mysterious ways.
  15. [shudder] Seriously. Wow, Tammy, that is gross. I have no words of advice, cuz I dont know anything about worms, but I can sympathize with not being able to think about anything else and feeling dirty.
  16. OMG, these are funny. I will have to rack my brain to think of silly things I thougth. I might have to call my friend Elaine, cuz she remembers EVERYTHING for me, since my memory sucks.
  17. hahaha, I just saw in your siggy that you are back on the hating your botox. I thought your mind had changed on that and you got them again?? Anywho, back to the issue (OMG that rhymed), sometimes there was some major gift giving going on and Tammy or one of the mods will need to restock the gifts. Once they are restocked, you can purchase again.
  18. Hi Stephanie, sorry I didn't notice your question earlier... I bought regular sized paper (8 x 11 or whatever it is), then I folded it in thirds and manually cut out the triangle window-type thing that made it appear a pocket. I did post a sample template somewhere, but obviously not in this post! I have no idea why not cuz that woulda made sense. I will see if I can find it and post it later.
  19. Morgan, congrats, that is awesome! So exciting to win a trip!!!
  20. Wow, great pics! I can't wait to go to MX sometime! This forum has given so much information (and I've often said it before, but I wish I had gotten married in MX instead of JA, but that's mostly Beaches fault, not JA's...), but maybe we can go for an anni, and these places are so pretty.
