It's me again. So, last tme I went to Ann Taylor Loft, I got the cards that say $25 off your next purchase of $50. So I have a few of them to use, but was hoping that someone might have a coupon again in case I go over the $200 that I have these coupons for. Hmmmm. Normally I would say the drop one, but it's got alot going on. Pretty and all, but I think it's too much with your dress. And I don't think it should hang below the beginning of your dress, or get caught in cleavage. If you like the idea of a drop necklace, I think going a simpler route would be better. A simple elegant chain, with one teardrop crystal, or something like that. Personally, I am not a fan of the rounded necklaces, cuz I think they tend to look flat or something. The pendants give definition to the neck and chest area. I chose not to wear a necklace for my wedding, cuz I didn't think I needed it in my low v-neck dress. Looking back at pictures, I really wished I had a necklace on. Not sure really why, but then I did wear one for the AHR and I think it looked so much better. Ohhhh! I just thought of something that could be perfect! Well, the style anyway, not so much the color. but I just saved this etsy item to my favorites, cuz I really liked it for a dress that I am wearing to a wedding next month. I like the drop necklace, but that would be my choice probably 100% of the time, so that's my personal taste. Pics would be great, who cares if it's a pdf?!

I have gained so much weight back that I lost before the wedding, I think I am even heavier then my previous heaviest! I hope I can commit to this though and not ignore it. Cuz it is totally effecting everything else in my life, making me miserable and not want to be touched. "Don't touch my fat!" Poor Matt, that's all he hears anymore.

I totally feel your pain, Lori. I'd be pissed too. That's one of the hardest things about a relationship, I think. Trying to get on the same wavelength on something that you aren't seeing eye to eye on. You are hurt and upset, and he thinks you are being nag-y. It's so hard to have a conversation where you can explain it without nagginess. And I don't mean YOU, I mean me too! So I hope you aren't taking offense to this. It's one of Matt's and my biggest problems, understanding the communication that we have. We communicate plenty, but understanding it doesn't happen that often. I wouldn't cancel the Niagra trip though, cuz you two def need/deserve some time together! And since you said you aren't interested in that party, I would skip that weekend and go the next as you have planned. You guys are def going thru an adjustment period, since this is so different then the way that you've been together before.

Jeez, that really sucks. How long will he be away? Would it be possible for you to move there with him (if it's going to be years)? I would hate to be away from Matt for that long and only see him monthly. But I like the suggestions the other girls had about you going down there for the party. Although, that also brings up the issue of he is missing a Canadian holiday for a party? It does sound kind of selfish. Also, what party is that big? There isn't any American holiday around October 10th (that I know of anyway!). It does sound kind of selfish, but I think what someone else said is true - it's much easier on the person who went away then the person left behind. He is making new friends at a new school program and it's exciting. While you are at home, doing everything that you would normally do with him. So I can see why it would appear that you care more then he does, but I doubt that's the case.

No way man. A "free pass" would mean that you decided you would rather sit at home or go shopping (or what the eff ever!) instead of going to the family function. And sure if that is what you were doing, then he would be entitled to his own "get out of family function for free" ticket. But you are WORKING. Totally not comparable. I think he needs to step up and miss football (ever heard of DVR?) and go with HIS aunt. And then YOU deserve the "free pass" since you had to WORK instead of going out with your son!

Jeez, that's crazy and I am sorry that you are dealing with this! I don't have much advice to offer, except to let you know we are always here. Big hugs.

Casey - it isn't really the type of show that you need to watch in order, but I would advise it if you have the choice! Only cuz I am anal, and I love catching references to past shows and seeing the recurring characters (like Cricket, and those weird brothers with the ugly sister, etc.) I watched my episode this wekeend, and it is crazy funny. Not sure if it's crazier or funnier, but it's def crazy funny!

Honestly, I wasn't thinking I was going to like this idea, but it's a really cute necklace! I was pleasantly surprised. I would buy just the necklace though, not the earrings. I am not really into "themed" earrings for some reason. It reminds of me old ladies at church wearing christmas tree earrings with their reindeer sweaters or something. Which totally just reminded me of Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyers's christmas carol-ing! So funny!!

I think it's a great idea and not sure why you couldn't do two different donations. And to figure out the money, you would just figure out how much you would spend per favor and donate that lump sum. Easy numbers: 10 guests at $5/favor = $50 Personally, I think $5/favor is alot, but our budget was small. So just do what you can, every little bit helps!!

Ok, I started to try to read the whole thread, but I don't know if I can, it's so dang long! I watched my first 90210 last night, and it was ok. I felt kinda stupid watching it, like I was too old or something, but I kinda liked it. I set it up to record, so we'll see how it goes. I wish I had watched the first few episodes though, cuz I hate not knowing what happened in the beginning.

OMG, I LOVE Bakers, as well. Unfortunately for me, there are NONE in Montgomery County, or at least not near where I live. I miss Bakers.....

I havent' watched the new ones yet, but you can be sure my Tivo recorded them for me!!! I love this show. It's sick. When it first started, I loved it cuz those people could totally be my friends, kinda stupid/silly. Then the show turned pretty dark with the comedy. I still love it, but lucklily I can no longer say that they remind me of people I know! Fricking hysterical. And I LOVE that they added Danny DeVito!
