Wow. That is one big bummer. I'm so dissapointed for you. All I can say is that Amos is one lucky man for having a woman who is so dang understanding. I can pretty much assure you Andy would have a hell of a black eye for springing that on me in that scenario after all of the hard work you did and all of the excitement you had built up. Basically, what I am trying to say is good for you for being more understanding, patient, and loving that I would be in the same situation. Go ahead and be angry, sad, whatever......this just isn't fair and I'm upset and sad for you!!! I really hope you get to put all of your amazing projects and thoughful things to good use wherever you decide to have your wedding. Once again....so sorry Shelley...so no freakin fair for you.

Yeah....that is not normal to be treated that way....and it is definately not acceptable nor should she go unpunished. If you have a certain number of sick days there should be no reprocussions for taking what is owed to you. Having no HR "department" makes things especially sticky. You should definately look into some labor laws and then present this horrid lady with backup proof she is a big meany. Everyone is right...she will get what is coming to her! Kill them all with kindness.....when your 6 months is up you can leave knowing you did the best you could under super emotional circumstnaces. You deserve a damn medal for not punching her
