  1. Bummer glenda...was hoping you would find something perfect. I'd do like Maura suggested and just get a placeholder from bluenile or ice.com, since they have quick shipping and some nice discount codes. Let us know if you need help
  2. Phew...big sigh of relief! Glad they worked it out to accommodate those ladies of yours....mind sharing a bit of your wealth...geez You will look fabulous I'm sure

  6. So, an update. I got another e-mail from the saying they went out today via fed ex air and will be here no later than monday. What a huge relief! Thank you to all of you who offered to help. What great chicas you are! I have to say, I'm so so impressed with their customer service. They wrote me today to say they included two complimentary orchid toasting glasses to match my bouquet. This is on top of the starfish jewell they threw in as well. I'm pumped to get the order now with all of these goodies! I would highly highly reccomend them for silk flower arrangement. Once again it's, www.Hibiscusflorals.com. Wonderful customer service...they are picking up the tab for the shipping even though it very well could have been my fault they only had my wedding date....not the actual departure date. Phew...glad it's taken care of though. Thanks again you guys....!!!
  7. Alyssa....I only have a quick moment today to check in, but I shipped your shoes this morning and had the UPS peeps e-mail you the tracking number. They are blue with some rhinestone accents.....very high and very sexy....if you don't end up wearing them for the wedding, you can certaintly wear them for something else. I hope you enjoy them
  8. Ok, this company is amazing. I told them i would reccomend them on the forum because they have really gone above and beyond for this order. I just got another e-mail from the co-owner....this is after a personal call to my cell phone from the other owner. Hi Amy, I know you already spoke with Mark today so I went through all the email threads with you to see if I missed the date. I couldn't find anywhere the information of your early departure date, only your wedding date of June 27th in Mexico. However, this is not the time to find where the overlooking occured so we will ship your order entirely at our expense because we want you to be completely happy and satisfied with our product and service and have it for your big day. It will be sent by Fedex Air Economy/International tomorrow so you will have it the latest next Monday. Please take some deep breaths and stay calm. We promise that your bouquet will be there on time as we never missed a wedding yet and we ship tens of packages every week to the US and internationally. Their webiste is Lifelike Silk Wedding Flowers: Artificial Bridal Floral Arrangements Of Top Quality and they custom did my order for me. Amazing to work with.....great quality. I'm so happy they will be here on time!
  9. Those callas are so pretty....at least I know I won't be empty handed if I get in a bind

I just had andy figure out how much air fed ex would cost from Toronto to us and it would be anywhere from about 150.00 to 95.00.....so I'm in for another lovely added cost no matter what. That is on top of the 30.00 already for shipping on the final bill, which I imagine he will credit towards this shipping....I hope. Good lord....I may have to crack a bottle of wine tonight.
  11. Yeah...at this point I just want them in my anxious little hands...I'll gladly pay 1/2.
  12. I just got a personal phone call from them saying they didn't realize when I was leaving and now they are going to have to air fed-ex them to me. Mark said it was a 50/50 chance they would make it here on Fedex ground. I don't buy his explanation that they didn't realize when I was leaving, because I have the e-mails from my original order to back it up. Regardless...they will be here on time, but now he wants me to split the cost of the air fed ex. Do you think they should pay the whole thing?
  13. I e-mailed the company who is doing my custom silk bridal bouquet and they said the order is done but they havn't shipped it yet! It is coming from Toronto....to me in Washington state. They said it will be here in 8 days, but is that business days or regular days. I leave next Saturday, which would leave only 7 business days. I just wrote them back to confirm, but now my heart is near exploding! They did e-mail me pics of the finished bouquet......saying: "I just returned from the workshop to email you with some pics as your order is going out to Fedex now! Although you weren't promised pics, Mark took a few because your bouquet turned out so beautiful. I am sending them so you can get more excited We enjoyed working with your vision and just love the final product. I also included a beautiful Swarovski starfish crystal in your bouquet at no additional charge." It's so awesome that they put in a starfish jewel at no cost...but I'm freaked. Here are the pics: Do you think they'll make it in time?
  14. interesting....not sure about they way they portray people on that show though...sometimes it's not in the most flattering sense. You know i'll tune in though
  15. Nothing will really change for us...we've lived together for about 4 years and already bought a home togehter. My money is his...his is mine...just my name change will be the most to get used to. I think I'll have a bit of an identity crisis, but I'm definitely excited to take his name!
  16. Could you do something like this? David's Bridal - Bridal Gowns CT229 Beaded lace mermaid gown with bolero jacket.
  17. We really don't fight much about household duties since we have been absolutely 50/50 from the very beginning. We share all the cleaning and cooking, and I feel very lucky he's tidy and loves to cook! However, we do bicker about not having enough of this.... We are both consciously trying to "fit it in" more consistantly because we are always so much nicer to each other after
  18. Andy just sent this little joke to me....too bad it's too late to stop that upgrade to wife 1.0! Dear Tech Support: Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 103, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0 Please help! Thanks, Troubled User..... _____________________________________ REPLY: Dear Troubled User: This is a very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application 'Yes Dear' to alleviate software augmentation. The best course of action is to enter the command C:APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5, and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0! WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system! Best of luck
  19. Welcome! I hope you get your questions answered. Have fun planning, and congratulations on your engagement!

To answer your quesitons.... the BD photog took some amazing pictures, but honestly I don't want to reccomend her because I didn't agree with the way she ran her business and suprised me later with the cost of the pictures. She also never wanted me to post on here that she did BD pics because she predominantly does senior and family portraits. The orchid strings were talked about here: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t15191-3 The OOT bags I got at Joanne Fabrics in July of last year. I found them on after summer clearance for 70% off. They were originally 12.99 and I paid less than 4.00 each. They are super sturdy and fully lined in fabric. I would highly suggest asking your local Joanne's when their after summer clearance starts since I've remembered seeing these same bags every year around this time.
