  1. We got a new pup on Friday! Jackson "Jack" a Cocker Spaniel. He is crazy! Very playful and so cute! He was fine on Friday but last night he started to get sick... Well, this afternoon I could tell something was wrong. He had diarrhea and vomited again. He was also burning up and was VERY lethargic. This is a 12 week old puppy, he should be playing, not sleeping! He could barely stand, so I decided to take him to the vet ER. They tested him for Parvo and sure enough! I just got him on Friday. I called the breeder and all she said was to return him for a refund or drive almost 3 hours and she would take him in TOMORROW to her vet because they would let her make monthly payments. UGH! There was no way I was driving the 3 hours with this VERY sick pup. He was moaning and just so lethargic...hadn't eaten a thing or drank any water all day. He was admitted and they will keep him for 3-5 days. I hope and pray this little guy pulls through! I just lost Cali (my cat) a month ago to Feline Leukemia Virus...I can't handle another loss...even if he has only been a part of my family for 2 days.

  5. I really LOVE "By Your Side" by Sade and "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk (from The Notebook). Who knows, we may have two dances! ahhh. I am listening to "Feels Like Home" right now on YouTube and am getting teary-eyed!
  6. No! You don't wanna jinx yourself, do ya?!
  7. You are on a roll! And, can I just say you are one smokin' hot mama! For some reason I thought you has long blonde hair! If I see no pictures, I make up my own! Either way, you are hot!
  8. I bought some at the Dollar Store that were a very, very thick paper. Then Hobby Lobby had a sale on their canvas ones and they ended up only being a dollar also...so, I switched! I am keeping the paper ones and will use them for gifts at my Bridal Shower and they will also be the OOT bags for the kiddos!
  9. ok, I just called my best friend. She was driving at the moment and can't remember off the top of her head. She said the town is calledRevelo (or something like that). The town is very small and they are staying at the very nice hotel that starts with the letter "C." Ha! That tells you absolutely nothing, huh? When she gets home tonight, she is going to check her paperwork and call me and let me know the name of the town and the hotel.
  10. He is a man! Men most always want to take care of their woman and make them feel special. I think buy just by buying a band, he feels like he is not doing an adequate job of doing this. In all honesty, because this is my second marriage, I just thought I want a white gold or plat. band....but Jay would not hear of it. We couldn't afford a huge diamond like some people can, but I LOVE my ring and stare at it all the time....it didn't break us or out us in the hole, but it was still expensive. I know Jay feels good about buying it and thats he is proud of it. Men are crazy...they dont think like I do. I know you love your DBF and want to be engaged...does he know you would be ok with a $99 band from Wal-Mart? If not, tell him so!!! Maybe he thinks you want the bling!
  11. I had planned on doing this for myself. Our cat just passed away last month..She was totally "our little girl" I miss her tons and want to keep her with me on that day. I will probably do another for out other cat, she is still alive. The cats were less than 6 months apart and they only knew each other. Ugh..I'm sad now. Great.
  12. I know down here, court is almost always cancelled. Maybe he can call and explain the predictament he is in with someone?
  13. I couldn't tell you offhand. But, my best friend is a WC and she has a client eloping to Italy later this year. Let me ask her later today to see if they have decided on a place and I will let ya know. I wanna go to Italy so bad!!! Oh, and I love your new signature picture. The table looks great!
  14. Around here they are put in 1-2 months before wedding...when I got married the first time, I think I did mine 2 months before. Guess I will be doing it around the same time this time also!
  15. A friend of mine got married in Playa back in April. They had their AHR this past weekend. We didn't get to go to the wedding, so we were very excited to watch her video. They did a "Cord Ceremony" or a "Gods Knot." It was very neat...they are different religions, so they had a non-denominational wedding. But, they wanted to incorporate God in to their wedding. They didn't want the unity candle, because its on the beach and they didn't want a sand ceremony because, it didn't incorporate God. This is what they did God's Knot - Cord of Three Strands It's just "binding" the husband, wife and God together.... It was a very nice touch that made the both of them cry. Jay and I are more spiritual than religious, but I really like this idea.

  18. I'll say it again, you looked beautiful!!! And, your wedding looked so fun!
  19. Are you asking people to respond on the STD? If not, I think you should do invitations. Invitations generally include a response card, so you know who is coming. If, you are asking people to respond on the STD, then you may not have to. OR. To save money, just send invitations to people you know are coming. I think the majority of us are sending out reception cards, accomodations and response cards with our invitations, so you will need to take these in to consideration also. Did I make sense....I felt like I was just going round and round. lol
  20. Go to User CP. Then on the lift towards the bottom is says "list subscriptions." I think you get the option there to disable it. I don't have mine disabled, so I can't see the options....I think that is where though.
  21. Fuschia and turquoise (more like a Tiffany blue actually). We also thought about using fuschia, apple green and orange.
