  1. Spanx now has a line at Target, as well. Haven't tried those, however. Love all of the others!
  2. La Europea (sp?) is also great, they have some gourmet-type stuff and a ton of alcohol!
  3. Tara, just to let you know, we're going to Belize for our honeymoon, so I can tell you all about it when we get back (if you can wait that long!)
  4. I'm trying to get the design for our collapsible coolers complete, and just realized the file must be in Illustrator format in order for me to submit to the company... I have the design done in Adobe, and the font, and am waiting on the coral image, so it wouldn't be too difficult... Anyone got any free time and want to help a gal out? I will be in debt forever!
  5. So, I love this idea! Just a thought, for everyone doing the honeymoon registry is to make sure and take pictures doing what the gift was (unless it's something not so appropriate like a couples massage or something) and make sure to include a picture of you enjoying the horseback riding or whatever in your thank-you card. I think that would really make it special for the gift giver! Just my two cents!
  6. Ah, thanks guys! I must add, I didn't make these, but my event planner's graphic designer did! I can't take all the credit! Lauren, I wouldn't worry about the RSVP date...I wanted mine to be September 1, and my planner told me to wait a month, since people usually get things in the mail, put them aside, and forget...at least this way it'll be closer in their memory!
  7. FYI, Deena from Sweet Dreams is on vacation (a lot of people in Cabo vacation during August), so if she doesn't respond quickly, that's why. I think she returns at the beginning of September.
  8. So they're not printed, but the proof has been finalized! Sorry I can't link the picture instead of the attachment, but it's in PDF and can't upload to Photobucket. If you're curious, the beige band on the invitation will actually be raw silk hand-dyed in a raffia/beige/natural color. YAY! I can't wait to get them and mail out!!!!! Feels so good to get these finished!!!!!! JILL_FINAL_2 (2) for BDW.pdf

I actually think it was on a Food Network show a while ago, so I don't know the real origination of it, but we've been using for 5 years! It's delicious and deadly!

Right, food & beverage...but the discount only applies to F&B at the hotel, and can't be used, for example, on reception food! So if guests book through Expedia, they could get 25% off their F&B at the hotel, so that's usually breakfast, lunches, snacks, room service, etc.
  11. Ohmygoodness those pictures are fabulous! I'm going to save the link so I can show my photog some of the shots I love!! Thanks for posting!

Jenetta, you are always so kind! I'm really excited about the coral too. Our "colors" if you will are turquoise and lime green. I wanted to do modern, but not typical beachy...so the coral fits in without having sea shells and things like that all over the place. I'm sort of a stream-lined kind of gal, so I like simple. But we're going for mod for sure, but fun and relaxed! I just got the proofs back from our invites, so I'll post them tomorrow so you can see the coral there too. We went with a custom designed coral on the invites, and the koozies and cooler have the matching clip art coral. So it meshes, w/o being too much of the same thing. Let me know what you think about them tomorrow! I'm thrilled with the way they turned out!

  15. So I've attached the design we're using for our collapsible coolers, but I'm unsure of the font. Anyone have any suggestion for a font? And, can I download it at dafont or something I'm design-challenged! I need your help ladies, I'm not good at this type of thing!!!!!!!
  16. You can absolutely lose weight without exercising. I lost 30 and didn't hit the gym at all. Not because I didn't want to work out, but I wanted to get my food in check before changing another aspect of my life. It actually has worked really well, and I don't go for the bad habits like before. You just need to be completely committed to what you're eating, and leave very little room for error. Make healthy decisions, and eat 6 times a day, it helps keep your blood sugar in check and you won't get hungry either. Stick to lean protein and fresh veggies and try to avoid anything refined, sodas, etc. Also, you mentioned you are still lifting weights, upper body. You might not see the scale move for a few weeks since your body is adjusting to the new muscle gain, fat loss balance. And remember, muscle doens't weigh more than fat, 1lb=1lb, but if you keep up with the weights, you'll eventually replace the fat w/ muscle and be leaner and therefore smaller. Good luck!!!
  17. Oh, and I forgot to mention that if anyone needs me to scope anything out, I'll try to do it. I'm hoping to make a Costco run & a trip to Europia to check prices on water, beer, snacks, etc so I can budget the rest of our OOT. So let me know!
  18. Hooray! My FI & I just found AA roundtrip nonstop flights to Cabo from September 28-30, 2007 using AA miles! HOORAY! And Expedia is having a special for Fiesta Americana, so we got rooms for $189/night with 25% off F&B. YAY! We get to go back down once more before our wedding, and make sure everything is set, meet Tara w/ Fiestas Los Cabos and taste cake! I was really getting worried about not going down there again before the wedding, and being totally swamped that week before, but now I'll be more relaxed, and I'll know what's coming. And we can bring down OOT stuff so there's not as much to take the week of! I'm so happy!!!! Only down side is that we'll have to watch the OU football game at a bar, rather than being there...oh well, the price we pay!

I'll let you know what they end up being. So wherever you chose see if they can match prices -Meli Meli, just to let you know, I did the same thing with FA and matching what was available on Expedia, Travelocity, etc. Those travel sites are running at special with rates $15/night lower than my original block night, plus 25% off F&B at the hotel...so I challenged them to match it all. We negotiated and met in the middle, and got the room rates and not the F&B discount. So they should work with you. It took a few days though, for the higher-up to make the call and craft the email!
  20. I worked out on Saturday morning, and had Sunday off, although we're putting our house on the market, so it was a lot of moving & lifting! Had yesterday off, will do Hip Hop Abs tonight! The Firm tomorrow morning and some cardio on Thursday, then it's out of town until Sunday! Julie, you're very good at this...exactly what I needed was someone to check in!
  21. Maria, just an FYI, I got the pashs today...finally! I am so excited, they are so much nicer than I thought (I really kept thinking for $2.75 they were going to be crap!) but they are great!!! I will double check your count, and we'll be able to scheduled a meet up. By the way, the colors are great, I don't think anyone else ordered the silver/grey, but I did, and it's gorgeous. Just FYI, it's a great neutral w/o being white or ivory. YAY! Thanks Ann!
