Awww, thanks girls, I am having a happy one. Everton took the day off ( well kinda, if you don't count him going in at 4am for a few hours in order to be home today) to take over Liam and my daughters physio therapy, so I could have a much needed break. I had a pedi, & a mani ( got to get my feet beach perfect), bought shoes(cause my toes look so pretty), the kids made me a cake (or something I believe is suppose to be a cake), and Everton is taking me to the Keg for dinner. Lucky me!!!! Kelly~

Take a deep breath, please don't cry. This has happened to most of us, this is the most difficult part of the whole dw. First talk to other ta's, make them compete with each other. I compared two on-line ta's, with three different local ta's. This is where the work comes in. Then tell the ta that the best you can do is a $150.00 deposit and give them the lowest quote you got, and then tell her if she can't accomadate you, you will have to go elsewhere. There is always another ta willing to take your money. I then contacted everyone via e-cards, and a some phone calls, gave them all the info, told them that if they wanted the secured price they had to book by ? date. If not they would be taking their chance on whether they can be accomadated, and the price point. After that there is not much more you can do. You will be surprised how many booked, by the date I had 38 people, a couple days after I had 2 more, at the same price. I still have a few more coming, and I really am not too worried about if they can book or not. I had lots of stress, and my partner reminded me it was about us, and whoever could make it, great, but if not we were still going to have a beautiful wedding. My sister also wasn't going to come, but when she relized there was no turning back for us, she phoned and booked her trip. My point in this is, breath remember who this is about, and it will all work out in the end. Sorry this is so long, but I feel bad how upset you are, you will get through this and then get back to the fun stuff of planning a wedding. If you need help let me know. Kelly~

Oh that is too weird, I was just going to post this as a thread. I got Princess by Vera Wang, for mothers day. I am thinking that this might be the scent. I have to see how Everton reacts to it though, you kind of want the man your marrying to go crazy over how you smell. The bottle is so pretty!! Kelly~

I actually have two engagement rings. Everton gave me a small pretty diamond ring when Liam was born. Years later when we finally set our date, he gave me a beautiful (read bigger,hehe) ring, he did a great job picked exactly what I liked. Your ring is beautiful, it's nice you got to pick out your ring, after all it's you who is going to wear it everyday, for the rest of your life. Kelly~

What are you going to put in your hair with it? Are you going to wear it alone, or the feathers, or just flowers. The one I have (yes I saved it), had a velvet bow like headband, not puffy bows, but really tight to to the head. with the veil coming down from the headband. Have you decided if you like full or partial face veil? Have you considered some great vintage/antique shops if there are any around you, that is where I picked up mine. Who says you need a crowd to dance? In our house we dance all the time, a good song comes on we are all up and dancing, friends come over, same thing. The only time the kids run from embarrassment and leave me dancing alone is in Old Navy, alone and dancing in the isles (have you heard the songtracks at Old Navy, they rock). I say dance away, after all your on vacation. The people who don't want to dance can be entertained by the crazy people who do.(lol) Kelly~

When I went to the wedding there it was in October, so didn't even think about air conditioning. It was decorated beautifully, they had these trees, flowers & huge urns of flowers and plants inside, I assumed that they blonged to the farm (since it is a greenhouse on a tree farm) LoL. I didn't know about the bathrooms we left as soon as dinner was over, thats hillarious... Good luck on your next site visits, hope you find one you like!! Kelly~

I wore one to my prom, in black, (way too many years ago, the Madonna era, hehe) I loved it. It would all depend on your dress how well this type of veil would work for you. I personally like it just covering you eyes, you don't want it to get in your way for all that kissing on your wedding day. I don't think it looks like grocery netting (lol), it would be cool to do something different, I say go for it!!!! Kelly~

OMG thats the most ridiculous thing I've heard, people just love to bring people down a few notches when they are obviously happy, so ignore her!!! My dress is ivory, Everton shirt is white, so is my daughters dress, and I think everything looks beautiful, and you will be beautiful also! Kelly~

Thanks girls, I got breakfast in bed, lots of homemade cards, went to see Phantom of the oprea in T.O, and dinner out. I am exhausted from all of the mother day attention. I have been searching for a photographer in the DR, but there doesn't seem to be any!!! I don't know where else to look. I would be willing to up our budget, thats not a problem. The problem is I would have to bring my own photographer. I have enough in my budget for photo's just not enough to actually pay travelling costs for someone to come with us. I wouldn't have much left for pictures. With travel expences for eight of us, and a wedding for forty, I have hit my $20,000.00 budget. I just may do the trash the dress next year, I just hate to chance that it may never get done. We are suppose to go to Jamaica twice next year, I am trying to convince my hubby that we need to do Mexico, instead of one of our trips to Jamaica, and hire one of the brillant photographers Mexico has offer. I also have visions of beautiful candid shots of my children they unfortunately (and fortunately) would not be in Mexico (can you imagine the pictures Sol could take of Liam) I am so bummed!!!
