Only the best alcoholic drink ever made, rimmed with celery salt, clamato juice, voldka, lot's of spices, tobassco, and garnished with celery or my fave pickled assparagus. So yummy you can have it for a meal. It is the one drink in Canada that is acceptable for breakfast, of course vacationing in cottage country (or my house) always helps the acceptability factor! I introduced it to Karen when we met up at the falls, I think she loved it! Now Tim Hortons is most Canadian's favourite coffee spot, you can't come here without the Tim Horton's experience. The offer is a legit one we would love to show you the sights!

  5. Another great choice, you are a wonderful person and I know you will be a wonderful Mod. You definately represent what this forum is all about! Congratulations Shelley
  6. Heidi you so deserve a happy birthday, I really hope all your wishes come true!
  7. Come on post the online picture at least. Your siggy of your kids is so cute, they are such beautiful children.
  8. It is really beautiful, can't wait to see pics of you in it!
  9. I also had a simple church ceremony before leaving with only our children and Everton's brother (his best man). We had no flowers, no isle walk, it was really intimate and very moving. We took the kids out for dinner after then went home to finish packing for our 3 am flight to the DR. I wore a simple white sun dress, it felt appropriate and it didn't ruin any surprises at our real ceremony in the DR.
  10. Everyone's rings are sooo unique and beautiful! Here are our very simple and pretty bands, I don't wear any jewellery except a locket so these were perfect for me.
  11. Kenda's idea of smile:) What to do after getting married let's grab a drink from the pool bar!
  12. I will also play, and I think you girls all look wayyy better then the models:) Model 1st fitting on the beach after ceremony with random people making them selves comfortable Model on the beach ttd in the wind
  13. You had that Fisher Price Doctor's Kit with a stethoscope that actually worked. And played it with the cutest boy in the neighbourhood, Teddy Roberts You owned a bicycle with a banana seat and a plastic basket with flowers on it. Not to mention the tassels on the handle bars and the sparkly paint You learned to skate with actual skates (not roller blades) that had metal wheels. And wore a cool jacket, short's and hat with a pompom on it, all in satin of course! You thought Gopher from Love Boat was cute (admit it!) And we all wanted to be Julie You had nightmares after watching Fantasy Island . But still wanted to visit You had either a "bowl cut" or "pixie", not to mention the "Dorothy Hamill". Pixie cut was oh so cute, I could only dream of Dorthy Hamill hair with all my curls People sometimes thought you were a boy. You had rubber boots for rainy days and Moon boots for snowy days. Don't forget that we graduated to Muck lucks, you know those great shaggy boots that the snow stuck to in clumps and by the time you got home you had 10lbs of extra weight on your feet YEAH! You owned a "Slip-n-Slide" , on which you injured yourself on a sprinkler head more than once. < /SPAN> Oh good times You owned "Klick-Klacks" and smacked yourself in the face more than once ! Or better yet your brother Your Holly Hobbie sleeping bag was your most prized possession. Not to mention the bedspread, wall paper, lamps, and the whole collection of rag doll's where Amy was my personal fave You wore a poncho, gauchos, and knickers. Still do, hehe You begged Santa for the electronic game, Simon. We had to settle for Kerplunk, and pick up sticks, and who remembers paper doll's? You had the Donnie and Marie dolls with those pink and purple satiny shredded outfits, or the sunshine family Or the bionic man and woman an d the skin actually peeled away to reveal their very cool bionics You spent hours in your backyard on your metal swing set with the trapeze. The swing set tipped over at least once. not to mention all the stuck tongues in the winter You had homemade ribbon barrettes in every imaginable color. (Oh yeah! ) and the matching knee socks You had a pair of Doctor Scholl's sandals (the ones with hard sole & the buckle). You also had a pair of salt-water sandals. oh the day's of style You wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder really bad; you wore that Little House on the Prairie-inspired plaid, ruffle shirt with the high neck in at least one school picture; Oh once again we were stylin a nd you despised Nellie Oleson! But oh how we envied her doll collection You wanted your first kiss to be at a roller rink! Mine was, mmmmm PONG! ("video tennis" ) was the most remarkable f uturistic game you've ever heard of ! Oh the edge of our seat tournaments we had Your hairstyle was described as having "wings" or "feathers" and you kept it "pretty" and maintained it with our butane curling irons with the comb you kept in your back pocket. And the boys were always stealing them When you walked, the "wings" flapped up and down, looked like you were gonna "take off" The bouncier the better, and washed with "gee your hair smells terrific" You know who Strawberry Shortcake is, as well as her friends, Blueberry Muffin and Huckleberry Pie. All the cool kids did You carried a Muppets lunch box to school and it was metal, not plastic. Mine was Leif Garrett With the thermos inside some were glass and broke the first time you dropped them. And rusted your very cool lunch box You and your girlfriends would fight over which of the Dukes of Hazzard was your boyfriend. And who was hotter Skarsky or Hutch, Starsky for me! YOU had Star Wars action figures, too! Oh the fun we had beating each other with our battery powered light sabre's It was a big event in your household each year when the "Wizard of Oz" would come on TV. Even better if you had a coloured t.v Your mom would break out the popcorn and sleeping bags! with the flannel cowboy and indian inside of the sleeping bag You often asked your Magic-8 ball the question: "Who will I marry. It was a toss up between Leif and Shaun Cassidy, and let's not forget about Parker Stevenson Shaun Cassidy, Leif Garrett, or David Cass idy?" You completely wore out your Grease, Saturday Night Fever, and Fame soundtrack record album. Fame came later and if you were a child of the 70's you would know that You tried to do lots of arts and crafts, like yarn and Popsicle-stick God's eyes, decoupage, or those weird potholders made on a plastic loom. Let's not forget about maccermae, and rug hooking You made Shrinky-Dinks and put iron-on kittens on your t-shirts! With sayings that said great things come in small packages, and purrr-fect You used to tape record songs off the radio by holding your portable tape player up to the speaker. or up to our record players that came in one piece and had a handle so we could bring it to sleepovers You had subscriptions to Dynamite and Tiger Beat. and covers were always cute boys not railthin models You learned everything you needed to know about girl issues from Judy Blume books. (Are you there God, It's me, Margaret.) Yes she was the bible of teenage girls You thought Olivia Newton John's song "Physical" was about aerobics. (?? its not??) Again not the 70's, tsk tsk You wore friendship pins on your tennis shoes, or shoelaces with heart or r a i n b o w designs. You wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer. Oh the wonderful gibb brothers You drowned yourself in Love's Baby Soft - which was the first "real" perfume you ever owned. In a roll on You glopped your lips in Strawberry Roll-on lip-gloss till it almost dripped off. Oh how pouty our lips looked Thanks for the trip down memory lane, but does anyone remember tassle jeanslol.
  14. Congratulations to my friends Jamy and Lizz
  15. Everton always hated him, he made us change the channel if he came on, we liked him and Everton is now saying I told you he was a fake, hmmm I guess he had a sense about him that the kids and I didn't.
  16. I have no idea what I walked to, we hire the mariatchi trio and I trusted them to play something beautiful, they did. They walked behind me as I walked, it was really nice, everyone loved this part of the wedding.
  17. If your having a at home wedding, I think table favours shold be enough, I have never been to a local wedding (or even the same country) where we got ootbags. Most people don't even know what they are. It sure would save you lot's of money if you don't have to do 100 oot bags. Do you know what your plan is yet Shelley?
  18. I'm gonna be honest all I really wanted was a yes man! Uh huh I said it just agree with what I want, but damn it agree like my ideas are the most interesting spectacular ideas ever thought of!!! Poor Everton I gave him such a hard time about his clothes, so he rushes out comes home with a outfit, and what do I do? March him right back to the store to return it all, and then pick out what I thought he should wear, Everton did however plan the most romantic dinner I have ever had. He planned it the day after our wedding in a gazebo on the beach, candles wine and the best salmon I have ever eaten. It was complete with moonlight, the ocean, and dancing to the trio that played at our wedding. It was beautiful, romantic, and month's of secret planning went into it. I have to say this was a way better use of his time then his input on hair flowers, or no hair flowers! I do think it is great Reggie that you want to get more involved, happy planning, and for the record I think the pink speedo's would be perfect Kelly~
  19. Welcome to the Mrs, hope everything was perfect up to the lost luggage!
