    I sent Save the Date cards that looked like boarding passes. I think it a good way for your guests to get excited about traveling to your wedding. It also gives them a way to plan for the expenses as well. I sent mine out almost a year ahead of time.

    I bought a paper cutter and an additional blade that was a perforator. I think it said it scored on it but it was the same thing....at Michael's.

    We just got back from our site visit at Dreams and she took our engagement photos! She was great! Met us at Dreams (early even) and took us all over the resort, beach, and gazebo, and even some in the water. She was really nice and had some fun photos. I will post some soon in a new post but please email me if you want to see more!

    I havent really heart too much about her but acutally going to use her for our engagement photos in a couple of days while we are down in cabo. It was $350 for an hour and I believe that is her base rate. I will post some of them when I get back so you can see some of her work!

    I try to eat "lower" carbs what are you looking for...snacks....meals? One new items I found recently is the yogurt that is low carb (carb control or sugar control) and really good....especially for quick breakfast! Nuts are good, celery and string cheese, sandwiches with salad wraps instead of bread too!

    I bought the bags from cheaptotes.com for $.99 each and I had the beads at home but they are usually $2.00 for what will probably complete 3 or 4 bags.

    I used the transfer paper and put our logo on it and ironed them on the bags. Then just used clear thread and beaded the seed beads on the pattern. It was really easy acutally....I have made the decorative pillow covers before because I didn't wan to spend $80 at pottery barn for them.

    Whoa...sorry about the size of the picture...I thought I re-sized it in photobucket. I am just doing these becuase there aren't very many woman going and I thought it would be something different. I have to start them early because they take a couple days each to make. Plus I can't do them during school (too much with taking too many MBA classes!) I love that about it looking like sand! Thanks!

    Hey Ladies.....I have tried to do something creative with my OOT bags. I am going to change the wording to a darker brown bead to you can read them better.....let me know what you think

    YOu can buy them this way...most florist know about them (well at least here they do) I think if you show them a picture of them you can order them. I wouldnt have any idea how to do them myself though....sorry

    They are dendrobium orchids that are stem dyed. They are normally the bright pink and white ones you have probably seen but they put them in blue dye and they turn this color. The florist I worked for sold these all the time!

    Are you just trying to print on the vellum? If so you can either tape it to a regular piece of paper and send it through the printer on a different setting than you would normally print. (Ink-jet printers you can reduce the amount of ink it put on the paper which helps)
