You can go on Jessica Simpson's website for her hair extensions they are called "Hair Do". You can buy them in either real or synthetic at different lengths. I had the same problem---I have really fine thin hair that doesn't hold any style so this worked GREAT! I would recommend bringing the extensions in to your regular hair stylist to give them a trim and match the colour. I found it very easy to find an exact colour match.

The morning after we arrived we had a welcome breakfast outside on the patio. That is when we personally thanked each party for coming and presented them with the welcome bucket which read Welcome to Cabo in Spanish (I forget what it was-I'm Canadian-We do French! haha). The one bucket was ALL Goldfish for my 3 year old nephew because they are his FAVOURITE!!

Thank you that is so sweet of you. We got our cups at the local grocery store (we just stumbled upon them-$1 each). My hair and makeup I did myself. The hair is Jessica Simpson hair extensions and the makeup is all MAC. I went the MAC store in Toronto and the gave me a lesson on how to apply it--I bought everything and then did it myself--thank you for the compliments!

Erynn's RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas Review

No we didn't pay the extra $$$. We had a group of about thirty and the set up the table into two rows of fourteen. So we were all facing each other---you didn't even notice that other people were there. The way they have it set up is that you walk through the doors onto the terrace and the entire left side is all your wedding group and a small dance floor and to the right is about maybe six tables of four (people you don't know). It is a fairly small restaurant set off to the side of the resort (compared to the steakhouse-large and very central) and so there aren't many people around. Hope that helps! -
That is much better! Anyway for the welcome buckets we put in: -playing cards -squirt gun (these ended up being filled with alcohol haha) -beach ball -crystal light -goldfish crackers -candy -tropical jelly bellies -palm tree pen -flip flop notepad -coconut banana shower cream -gun -kleenex -we had callaway golf balls printed -itinerary -spanish words and phrases -tropical fruit travel candles -the biggest hit of all were insulated cups that were bright and colourful--we wrote everyone's names on them and that way you have a large cup to fill with drinks that last longer and keeps your drink colder. All week other guests were asking us where they could buy those.

Erynn's RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas Review

There were probably about 8 other tables of people on the Terrace with us but I didn't even notice them. They set our tables up in two long rows of 14 so we were all facing each other so you don't even see anyone else. Also the way it is set up is that there is a little corner at the end of the terrace closest to your party that they leave empty. It is ideal for a small group for dancing if you don't want to have a bonfire. Regarding the drinks..originally we were not going to pay but the bonfire was FAR from a bar so we just went with it. The bonfire went from 9-11 (we stayed later) and we booked the bartender from 9:30-10:30...my father in law tipped him and he ended up staying until about 12:30. It seems like alot of money since it is an all-inlusive but I would recommend it for the bonfire location. Also the bartender was a great sport and my guests were all taking turns making drinks and playing around! Hope that helps! -
Hello all! I thought I would give a review of my experience with the RIU Palace Cabo. We were married on August 2nd and I will start at the beginning. First of all we arrived around 5:00pm at the RIU and check in was NUTS! We were so excited to be there though, we didn't mind the wait. My husband to be and I (along with all of our 25 guests) were give our room keys and we all split up to go check them out. Originally we were told we would be upgraded to a junior suite but when we got to our room it was a regular room. Prior to leaving both our travel agent and my mom had requested that our group be situated on the side of the resort AWAY from the construction because we had heard it can be disturbing. Well low and behold half of our group was facing the construction and the other half was on the opposite side of the resort. Our guests were not overly bothered by the situation and all swore up and down that they were okay. My husband to be went to the front desk to try to change our room to a suite because our original room had a TERRIBLE smell. He was told by numerous workers and the manager that the resort was at capacity and there was nothing they could do. I was pretty upset because if I had known this would have happened we would have just payed more to guarantee the suite. Well my dad went down and he says he used his "outdoor voice" and before we knew it we had a oceanview suite. Moral of the story is to have your travel agent make sure you are in a suite BEFORE you leave. Now that that part is over everything else was FABULOUS!! The resort was stunning...and the weather was perfect! The food was the best I have had in an all-inclusive resort. It is not award winning but definately good compared to other resorts. As for the actual wedding day I give it two thumbs up. Adriana is very good and efficient. She is super busy though-there were 9 weddings the week we were there. If possible book your wedding on a Monday to Thursday because they are less busy and you get more attention from Adriana and the other staff regarding your wedding. We had our ceremony at 4:00 on the beach and it was HOT! The funny thing is that you are so happy/excited that you don't even realize how how it is until after the ceremony. Take note that the sand is super hot and we we ended up having to wear sandals. I would highly recommend booking the 4:00 time slot if possible because after pictures and hugging we didn't arrive to the dinner until 7:00! The wedding after us at 6:00 didn't have dinner until 9:00---the bride was upset because it did not leave much time for dancing after supper (they shut the music off around 11:30). We booked the San Jose Mexican Terrace for our supper and it was AMAZING! They set up the tables in two long rows of 14 so we were all facing each other and you don't even notice the other people eating on the terrace. The service and food was fantastic and the view was breathtaking. The cake was also said to be fairly good (I didn't have any--I'm allergic to wheat). My favourite part of the whole day was the bonfire!! One person spent the entire day digging it out and it was sooooooo wonderful! It was worth every single penny. They set it up away from everything so you don't have many people interrupting. We had a private bartender and music playing. We danced on the beach and had a blast! They came to turn off the music around 11:00pm but the bartender put it back on after they left (just tip him!) We ended up staying out until about 12:45 sitting around listening to music and enjoying the fire. After that the younger people went to the disco and the older folks hung out by the fire for another hour or so. Our guests are still talking about this bonfire---perfect way to end the day! Overall it was a wonderful and memorable experience. I would definately go back to the RIU Cabo! I may have forgotten some details---so if you want to know just ask!

Last weekend my sis and I got makeovers done at MAC in downtown Toronto and it was AMAZING! I bought everything that the make-up artist used because it looked so beautiful. I would highly recomment "Strobe Cream"---it's a opalescent moisturizer that reflects the sun--you wear it under your normal tint foundation and concealer. It looked stunning outside in the sunlight! Seriously my skin looked flawless! Also they have a really neat line of "Paints". They are like cream moisturizers that dry into a powder. It did not crease and looked great for the whole day.

I'm not sure when you are planning on going on your honeymoon but last summer and this summer Disney had an AMAZING deal on for the end of August and throughout September. You book your hotel and park tickets as a package and you get free dining!! You eat free at the best restaurants in Disney--it is wonderful! We booked our honeymoon for this August at the Animal Kingdom Lodge because we both loved the atmosphere and scenery last time we visited WDW. I would suggest deciding what type or theme vacation you would like and then go from there (Beach Vacation-Caribbean Beach Resort or Beach/Yacht Club, Outdoor/Wilderness Vacation-Wilderness Lodge Resort etc.) Hope that helps!
