Hola shanandcal, Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!! While a lot of our gals wear their actual wedding dress to the TTD Session or also know as a "Wash the Dress Session"....it is normal but not necessary to buy a separate one. I guess this is more of a personal choice, just make sure you pick a dress you feel comfortable and beautiful in. Here are some of our most recent mermaid couples to give you a bit of inspiration: Tegan + Tyson - We loved her dress underwater!!! Bev + Jordan - Bev actually had her TTD dress custom made and similar to her Maggie Sottero worn on her wedding day. Brandon + Danielle - One of my favorite couples, check out the converse and the gorgeous dress!!! Yekaterina + Sergei - Yekaterina went for a very romantic bohemian look, we also loved!!!
