Not necessarily "exclusivity" agreements, but working arrangements with some of the "off the beaten track" cenotes. If you are going scouting, I recommend looking around the area south of Playa del Carmen, there are a lot of great places around the Barcelo Maya area.
  2. Hello ladies! A lot of the best cenote locations are actually private locales hired directly with the photographers. We have our "secret" off the map spots and special agreements with the owners. It's often better this way to avoid crowds at the more well-known sites, with a lot of people in the water it can really stir up sediment and make it far less personal and special. Talk to your photog (Del Sol perhaps?) and see what they recommend. Here are a few cenote trash the dress photos to stimulate your senses, let us know if you would like to be our next mermaid bride!

Did you considered having just your ceremony there and the reception at another place? The fee for any of the churches or the pond is around $1,600. The only other thing that you would need to get is music (add another $700). This option is available only on a weekday. I know, its still pricey, but the place is unbelievably beautiful and you will have amazing pictures and very unique ceremony that would not compare to any hotel. Search for DelSol's pictures of a wedding in the Chapel of Guadalupe (its inside the grotto). I think the name of the bride was Savy (maybe Mat can help on this one). There are also a few beach clubs around Xcaret where you can have your reception for much less than Xcaret's prices. This is an option that I went with, so feel free to ask any questions. Hi anayMay2014, You have a terrific memory, wow! The Xcaret wedding of Savi and Robert remains one of our faves, here is a small taste, anyone interested can click the link for the whole wedding. Happy planning!
  4. Hola ladies! We've just shared a NEW wedding at Casa Chic, a great private villa in Tulum. Very intimate, pretty setting on a beautiful beach, perfect for a very private and special occasion. Here is some inspiration for you from the wedding of Katharine and Saul. Happy planning!
