Oh my. Â CNN and FOX news. My recommendation is to turn that off. We live here, its peaceful. Paradise. 30 % of mexican tourism dollars come from this area. they protect that. Â War zones are thousands and thousands of miles away from here. Seriously, stop the worries and plan on the fact that some of your guests will thin out because they watch FOX news and CNN too much and are scardy pants of Mexico. Then remember, "hey, wasnt it my plan to reduce the guest size by going to a foreign country".... it all works out. OH, my guess is that you are more likely to get in a major car accident in your hometown interstates than have a war or drug thing happen to you in the Riviera Maya. Â best, matt

I have a pretty thorough Zoetry experience to share with everybody. As actual guests of Zoetry in the past, we have written a thorough review with photos of our experience. Hope that helps! Seriously, we appreciate your trust to make these awesome photos Our team did well, we are very proud.  Your photo fav pics were difficult, like you said, way to many to choose from in order to not have 300+ images in a slideshow... a tough choice for sure Cheers! matt

Hair Styles

I keep mine REALLY Short, all the time Its so hot here! Â We see lots of brides with hair UP, probably 85% compared to hair flowing. One thing to consider is the wind, if you hair is down, it may flow. Flowing hair isn't bad either, its just something to consider!. Â Her hair was down, with veil: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=311 Â Her hair was UP, love this look too, flower accent: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=304 Â Here is sorta of a Bun, and upish: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=314 Â Her hair is sorta bun / upish to one side, hanging down on other side with curls out, nice Lily flower too: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=312 Â good luck mateo -
Congrats and take your time Its amazing how we are working with many brides who seem to be planning 2 months or less out, making big changes and decisions without any time at all.... (folks even contact us for next week weddings I'd say enjoy your engagement, plan well and have fun! Cheers to Choosing DRC... I loved taking photos there... My clients ADORED their wedding there... you will two! Saludos, matt Â

Great choice for a wedding, VIVA Mexico!!!!! My recommendation is that you concentrate on the Riviera Maya...  I recommend that you take some time, filter through this forum a bit, read a few reviews, absorb a few photos...BDWF is a super place to ask questions.  One resource we have been working on is a major slideshow / review linked / info filled WIKI. Maybe this will help picture your place when you have a short list.  http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/del-sol-photography-slideshows-riviera-maya  Cheers! matt

Diana, thanks for checking out out   ---Wow, great to hear they are licensing it to TLC too... it was a short and sweet presentation... they used quite a bit of our UW video footage and Trish was telling me that her show resulted in larger ratings than a new episode of "clean house".... yeay  Dealing with TV network people is not fun, when all we want to do is shoot Cheers amigas!  mateo

I'm still not sure why they call this "Mexico Time". Even some WC's get backed up on communication. One thing is for sure, these big AI's are slammed with emails and inquiries and questions. I mean ZILLIONS of them. Usually the staff handling these questions are very small... Hpefully, folks get back in touch soon! Its our goal with the studio manager to communicate within 24-8 hrs. One thing that helps us is the dedicated SKYPE line... I'm still not sure why some of the vendors havent figured this one out... good luck! matt

Groom Wearing Shorts?
Matt Adcock replied to Kendall's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
He won't look "Stupid" no matter what happens... I say live a little, have fun after all, you have chosen a non conventional wedding location and if shorts make the guy feel comfortable, live it up. Does this bride look stupid?
