  1. HOLA!!!! I saw your comment in our WIKI full of slideshows in the RM really helped you out yesterday, does that mean you have changed your mind from Miami and relocated the big event here in MEXICO? We recently posted a link to Excellence Resorts in the Riveira maya, just something to check out if you get a chance as well: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.132569333485812.31901.115044671904945 OH, we also have a SICK promotion at Le Reve, read here: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/73510/del-sol-photography-la-luna-photography-hotel-lereve-bdwf-promotion Also, if your digging around for a beach wedding, I want to recommend barefoot Jewelry for destination weddings too... Chelsea is one of our past brides...cool gal. we just ordered a set for some of our shoots, stoked to get the photos edited and online soon! anyway, happy planning, glad to have been of service to you with our WIKI... would love to hear if you picked a resort and what it is. saludos, matt
  2. I was wondering if anybody could answer these questions for us... I have a few venue shots for Aventura Spa, I'm just trying to connect dots with the actual names of these locations. Any help? What is this spot? Its a terrace connected to the lobby of the Spa side I think... Seems like a awesome spot for a reception of 25 or less, being all elevated and open...wow. Wind may be a challenge here on some nights.. this photo above was taken from the edge of the wall where the people below are standing. What is the name of this terrace? The views are SICK, especially if you are lucky enough to plan during a full moon...wow! More from this wedding here if you need more to help me identify this space: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=296 thanks yall matt
  3. your giving away all our secrets HA, lol, JK.... yeah, i'm thinking he did exactly that too! nice attention to detail to find that, think up the idea and make that happen thanks for the positive response... Now we just need to book Juan plus Le Reve for our amazing BDWF vendor special
  4. underwater boudior is hotness... and the photos can be very clean, just suggestive and SUPER sexy. Sol has a passion for this, we are excited to do more of them
  5. Stoked to be part of this promotion, a first in the history of wedding photographers + hotels offering incentives when booked together..... Le Reve is a super unique boutique property located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, very close to Playa del Carmen... we are stoked to be able to work together with Le Reve, along with La Luna and Del Sol we are going to be offering a combined package to future brides, a BDWF special promotion... info here: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/73510/del-sol-photography-la-luna-photography-hotel-lereve-bdwf-promotion
  6. i wanted to post a few "Juan Jose" favs EPIC style Juan is a master of details... Very sexy moody dance shots, he is also a master of off camera flash and creative lighting, wow. He is always working receptions with a dedicated flash / lighting assistant. I have studied this photo long and hard... do you know how crazy it is to have a photo all about feet, but go one "step" further..ha, like my pun. The layers of 3 gals all on 1 foot.... its not easy to get a shot like this...its kinda abstract but as an artist, I really rate this one on the super creative scale 10+ Juan, awesome timing and composition skills creating relationships with FEET and giving 3 of them something in common, standing on 1 foot. wow. Love this mother son dance! hope u like
  7. Le Reve is just now getting MORE reasonable if you book del Sol or La Luna... http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/73510/del-sol-photography-la-luna-photography-hotel-lereve-bdwf-promotion
  8. thanks ya'll... here is a few more RAIN fun shots... these were shot at Excellence Playa Mujeres... My theory is to GO with it! my blog post on this wedding: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/post-970/Christa-Thomas-Excellence-Playa-Mujeres-Photos-by-Matt-Adcock
  9. if it were me, I'd choose Ceiba in a heartbeat over that of what Barcelo has...just for the boutique factor alone, plus ceiba has a pier! good luck
  10. Chelsea makes this, customizes this for brides actually. Her link is http://www.redibychelsea.com/ She is also a vendor / supporter of BDWF.... you can see her slideshow here along with some of our photos of her amazing jewelry! http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=312 hope this helps... OH, she also talks a bit more about the process here: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/destination-wedding-jewelry-barefoot-beach-jewelry-more Matt
  11. * I've updated the Juan Jose galleries on the blog, check em out: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/index.php/galleries.flo?portfolio=juan
  12. I just went over a quick review and I must say that you look FAB!!!! WOW, awesome day, can't wait to process all these files from Sol's Camera. We just posted on the del Sol blog our latest EPM wedding probably not anything new since Christa has been posting in this thread... for those that havent seen, enjoy : http://delsolphotography.com/blog/post-970/Christa-Thomas-Excellence-Playa-Mujeres-Photos-by-Matt-Adcock
  13. My experience with Grand Bahia in Riviera Maya is that we MAY NOT enter the property to shoot. Juan Jose is one of our photographers and a former employee of the Riviera Maya Bahia and confirmed that was their policy... so if photography is important issue, you may wanna double check. I've always heard that Jamaica is SUPER easy to work in, in fact we don't actually have to get a work permit to go there, I just choose not to... good luck
  14. Awesome images so far! always a ton of content fresh and happy like over on del sol TTD section. These are pretty magical, sexy, exciting and HOTNESS. Hope U like: How is this for SEXY AS ???? WOW. Hope you like....

  16. From http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/user/ahollo02 , First Review: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/products/blue-lens-caribe-wedding-photography/reviews/4574'>http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/products/blue-lens-caribe-wedding-photography/reviews/4574
  17. Thanks for posting Regan! Hopefully we will see a review in the La Luna Review Section. Saludos from Me HI CO and thanks for posting more amazing la luna stuff! WE have 1 La Luna wedding today at Moon Palace as well as 1 del Sol wedding, so excited!
  18. you can't go wrong with this, awesome option. We drove our car to Chetumal then entered Belize (kinda a PIA, had to buy insurance and fumigate our car, and go into their immigration to the country) seemed it could have been faster. We flew in from Corozol Belize, low cost tickets, can't remember. Flight was 15 minutes or something crazy, an on our way back , it was a private charter only 2 of us. Everything in San Pedro is by boat, so its kinda tough to get around. You can rent golf carts to go further down the island, but it takes 10 forevers if you do... We stayed way far north at Costa Maya Reef.com...too far San pedro is so cute, rustic. We dove the blue hole, lighthouse atoll, and a few other spots. AMAZING. Check out this original del Sol content: Lara + Josh - Wedding in Ambergris Caye - Photos by Matt Adcock + Sol Tamargo (we were on 5 boats in one day for this wedding) Lara + Josh - Trash the Dress in San Pedro - Photos by Matt Adcock + Sol Tamargo I think I saw it in passing from the water
  19. We went to Costa Rica http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/28056/del-sol-photography-honeymoon-in-costa-rica' Inside Mexico (Mayan Riviera) WE LOVE: http://www.hotelesencia.com/ Watch this video to see why we call it our home away from home: a few photos here: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/post-485/Hotel-Esencia-ultimate-indulgence www.alcielohotel.com (a little more rustic but wow) A video to see our 1st anniversary experience there: http://vimeo.com/2525353 Ok, so those 2 locations are actually side by side and are TOTALLY different in design / presentation. Corona rents out these places to do their photo shoots, so this tells you how AMAZINGLY PERFECT the location is... Also, I'm going to recommend Le Reve... http://www.hotellereve.com/?anniversary They will even HOOK you up if you are a del Sol / la luna client. happy hunting mateo
  20. Welcome to the forum... check out our wiki, has 2 million links to slideshows here in the RM, if you are planning from another country, this will be helpful. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/del-sol-photography-slideshows-riviera-maya also, a few TTD images to get the imagination stirring. http://delsolphotography.com/blog/index.php/category/5/Trash-The-Dress Grand Bahia to my knowledge has big restrictions on outside photographers, so if photos are impt, don't choose that hotel good luck, saludos matt
  21. We love working at Excellence Riviera Cancun.... one amazing view in the Riviera Maya. Loved your jewels too Chelsea. WE are SO Excited to see your business take off and that you are now a member here on BDWF. We are stoked to see more brides wearing Red I. Thanks for posting your support for del Sol.
