  1. Hola dsr322, Most used hair flowers are: orchids and lilies. They look beautiful and can resist the heat better: Hola Lola, The girls at the Secrets Maroma are great and they can most likely create the like you want if you bring them a picture. They can also recommend what kind of hair-do will work with your type of hair. Know that the humidity in the area is a HUGE factor and they are the experts, so do consider any advise they might have for you. I found these pictures of one of our gals that had her make-up and hair done there. You can view the entire event HERE for more idea. Happy Planning!!!
  2. Hello Dreams Puerto Aventuras Ladies, Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!!! I know that the planning process can be stressful and that the hotel actually start all conversation a couple of months prior to the big day. So in the meantime, here are a few pictures to help you visualize your day: Denise and Christofer are one of our favorite couples and they wanted a wedding with a tropical feeling. Their ceremony was at the Gazebo, cocktails at The Barracuda Bar (while we sneaked out for their sunset portraits) and then dinner at the Oceana Seafood Restaurant: You can view the entire slide show HERE or check out other DPA Weddings by del Sol: Genevieve + Enric - Photos by del Sol Associate Andrea + Chris - Photos by del Sol Associate Steve + Erin - Photos by del Sol Associate Happy Planning!!!!
  3. Hola Ladies, Without a doubt organza, layers and flowy dresses are the best for the Trash the Dress Sessions. Think of something comfortable to swim in and definitely do some practice holding your breath underwater and opening your eyes Know that most of the times, the dress is not ruined but it actually washes off. If you are afraid of going in the jungle with your expensive gown than consider a second dress either custom made or similar to your actual wedding gown. Here are some of our favorites: Enjoy!!!!
  4. Hola mae1564, Your wedding will be great just because of the love you have for each other. In terms of light and temperature, I'm afraid the 1hr and 30 minutes does make a difference!! If your guests are used to warm weather and considering the fact that most destination ceremonies last no more than 20 minutes, then it's totally doable but try to stay away from dark colors and recommend your guests to wear light clothes Hope this helps and wish you the absolute best!!!!
