Yes, there is a reason we are waiting two years. We have a little bit of credit card debt to pay off so we are doing that this year. Then we want plenty of time to save money so we don't go back into credit card debt! So that is what 2008 is for. Our anniversary of dating is March 12, so I figured that would be a good date to get married. That way I don't have to remember a new date! We will have been together six years on our wedding day. Yikes!

Thanks everyone! I think the two year thing is good and bad. Part of me wants the wedding to be here now and the other part is so glad I have a lot of time to plan. Plus it is nice to have that time to save up some money. Anyway thanks again and I'm sure I will be going some venting, so glad to know this is the place to do it!

Congrats Maureen! I am planning a wedding at the Riu Ocho Rios in March of '09 and have the need to plan, plan, plan too! Did you consider getting married at the resort and if so what made you not choose that route? Also (assuming you will have guests in attendence) what about getting your self and guets to the location? How close to the resort is it? Sorry for all the questions, just curious! In any case it looks beautiful and I'm sure your wedding will be just as nice!
