    we invited everyone +a guest. We didn't care if we knew the person at not. We felt that if they were close to the person we invited, that they were basically close to us too. plus this person is traveling a long way to be at your wedding, i don't think it's fair to tell them who they can and cannot bring

    not a photog, but thought I'd chime in anyway we used a bright ocean blue, and pink/magenta as our colors, and then had really bright flowers.

    I ordered the 5lb bag and then ordered 4 inch organza bags and bagged the M&Ms in Mexico. We had 45 guests, and we filled the 4 inch bags, and had just a little bit left over. Which means that I traveled with them to mexico as well I carried them on and I left them sealed in the bag they came in until a couple days before the wedding. We then put them in the organza bags and kept them in the air conditioned hotel room until the morning of the wedding. By the end of the night they were a little slimy from the humidity, but by then they had spent over 12 hours outside and it was humid!

    we didn't have any trouble getting our stuff to PV. The only thing they questioned was our table stones. On the X ray they show up as this big black blog.     I love that dress! And I think it would look great on the beach. Plus if you love it, it's going to show and no one will be looking at you thinking "omg that dress is too glitsy for the beach"

    I might be slightly biased, but I think you should go for Las Caletas!! We had the most amazing wedding there! Our guests stayed at Dreams. In November, no one paid close to $2000 for a 4/5 day stay. We stayed 10 days and paid less than 2,000 per person

    I over packed on dresses and under packed on casual kicking around clothes. And I didn't bring tennis shoes, because i didn't have the room, and I really wish I would have made the room for them. We could have done more activities had we brought tennis shoes!

    I had a 1 point bustle for a BM dress I wore a while back. It held all night, but then again the train on our BM dresses weren't very long at all. i had a 3 point bustle on my wedding dress. I'm sure your alterations lady can add a couple more hooks if you want it that way.

    I have hyper colored cups coming out of my ears! We brought 120 down to mexico.... we ordered 250. Ha! We put them in the OOT bags and put 1 at each place setting at LC. We didn't have an AHR, so yeah, we have a ton left over. We ordered 250 from Vendo Direct because ordering 250 from them was cheaper than ordering 100 from a different place.

    I'd bring that dress in soon!! I started alterations 3 months out. I had 4 appointments, and my dress hardly needed any altering - just taken in slightly at the top and the boneing fixed. It takes time for your dress to be altered. So I'd get in in very soon. And if you do loose the weight they can definitely bring it in for you. Oh, and I think everyone is afraid to try on their dress for the first time!

    ha, I'm using a hyper colored cup right now. One funny thing, at the wedding my young cousin was the first one to use her cup. It changed bright orange. My uncle goes "oh, what did you put in there? Whatever it was I wouldn't drink it, the color looks bad!" It was so funny. At Christmas my parents went to my aunts house and they were using the cups

    we had the same thing happen. DH's best man proposed to his GF on the first day of our wedding trip. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal at all. Everyone came to Mexico for our wedding, and while they said congrats to the BM and his new FI, it was never a big deal.

    Do a veil!!! IMO, a veil totally completes the bridal look.

    What is your dress made of? i got in the ocean with my dress - which was made of silk. i rinsed the salt water out, and hung it to dry after our TTD session. When we got home I tried on my dress again. It's about 3 inches shorter than it was on the day of the wedding/TTD session. And it definitely isn't as nice looking as it was before it got wet. So if your dress is silk, I wouldn't recommend getting it wet if you want to wear it to your reception back home.
