Im doing WW as well...just finishing week 2 and have lost about 7 lbs. The first few days were tough and I was HUNGRY but now Ive figured out what I can eat that is low points and will fill me up and that helps a ton. I am already fairly small and only need to lose about 15-20lbs total but it is hard because I only get 19 points a day on the flex plan. I've found that drinking is definitley impossible unless I trade activity points for a beer! Have a shower this weekend and Bachlorette party in a few weeks and I know it will be VERY hard to stay on track.

We are doing the same...it's very common and not tacky at all. Im wearing my dress again, which will be fun. I think its a common way to have a small, intimate wedding but then celebrate with ALL of your family and friends.

Hi girls! I need some help! We are having a legal ceremony at Azul Beach in June. Does anyone know what can be done to "personalize" the ceremony a bit? Since it is being done by a judge I am worried it will be boring and impersonal. I'd like some suggestions or ideas of what you may be doing to spice up your ceremony! I have some ideas but dont really know what will be allowed to be added, since it is technically a legal proceeding. Any ideas? Thanks! Sara

KARISMA COMES THROUGH! Per the email I just received from Fabio, "No worries, we’ll allow “Sol Photography†for your wedding since this is recent and it does not affect any of our previously confirmed weddings." My fingers are crossed that this is the final answer on this! Thanks to all for your support Sara

Martha - when we booked (over a year ago) they had an EXCELLENT relationship. I booked both the photographer and the resort at the same time. I actually chose Sol before I chose a resort! Things have just degraded since then. At the time, Matt was even recommending Azul to brides on his blog due to their excellent service.

Thanks for your support. Including all of my guests bookings, they have 10's of thousands of dollars of our money. Hopefully if logic wont work with them, financial pressure will. Jen - thanks so much for calling and offering to contact your TA. You may still have to deal with the fee but I think its only Matt/Sol that are banned

I am a bride getting married on June 14th at Azul Beach hotel. I have had a contract with Karisma/Azul and Sol for over a year. I just received an email from Matt advising that he and Sol have been banned from the Karisma property due to disputes over their new policy regarding fees for outside photographers (they are now requiring 500$ fee and 3 night stay). I am in a panic as it is after hours for both my travel agent and my contact at Karisma (Fabio). If there are ANY of you out there getting married at a Karisma resort PLEASE call your representative or anyone at Karisma (1-866-Karisma) and voice your opnion. Contacting your travel agent will also be a useful tool. Perhaps if we all voice our displeasure we can invoke some change in this awful situation. In the meantime, I will wait to hear from Fabio and Luxe to see what to do next. Luckliy, in this situation having Luxe on my side will be my best weapon. I only hope that they can work some magic in this situation. Any phone calls anyone has time to make would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sara UPDATE - See my new post on page 2!
