Ok, I added it... I will just keep checking the Show Me Your Dresses thread and adding as they show up. I am a pic whore myself, so even though I have seen them 100 times, I was still just flipping through them again. I have everyone in my office looking at them, lol.

I wasn't going to do favors at all because of the OOT bags, but you guys inspired me and I am doing the fans/programs at the seats and these at the dinner tables, more for looks than anything: (and you can fill them with all kinds of stuff... I am going to do candy prob in these colors but you could even do the little wax burner in the center and the wax pieces in the other slots and it would smell awesome!)

I sat down last night and tried to do a schedule, and I used the idea of one cd for each section and I think it will work out. They said I could use an ipod, so I am going to double check on that. I don't have one (I know, who doesn't have one?) but I think I have someone I can borrow one from. That is just a lot of music to come up with!!! 6 hours... ouch, and I love music. Of course by the 3rd hour everyone will probably be so whacked they won't care whats playing Thats when you break out the ice ice baby and let em go to town!

I agree, they are sooo gorgeous. I loved every pair you are looking at, but #3 scream sophistication and elegance and look like they will accentuate the details on your dress perfect!

I am still struggling too... I need one large WHITE flower, that I would prefer wasn't a rose. I am using cymbidium orchids for my flowers and my colors are like a brighter green and turqouise/aqua blue. If you guys know of any, please share. No problem, I figure there will be quite a few of these. As I was going through I would save one persons and then see them with another five pages later, lol. I did the same thing! Your dress is gorgeous!

The one detail that I can't seem to narrow down is the music. I have most of the main songs and a list of some of my favorite for the reception but I can't just have a list. I am starting to download songs so I can begin burning discs, but I have realized I am going to have to figure out how to group them so they flow from one song to the other and from CD to CD. Also, I don't know how many songs I need. Has anyone figured out an easy way to do this? I am thinking that each CD will hold approx an hour, so I would need like 9 or 10 hours to be safe (5-2)? And then plan ques for different events? Oh lord... hand me that bottle! No, I don't need a glass!

I was hoping someone would post more info on this because we are really interested. What exactly do they do, like how does the event go down? I am assuming it would be geared toward the men? What would you suggest for the women to do during this? Or is it entertaining for both?

It seems far away now, but you will wake up tomorrow and it will be here. Then you will be like most of us, in a panic, not knowing up from down and you will be posting my favorite phrase from here... "freak out in 5, 4, 3..." hehehehe! Oh, no, I intended to maintain it. I can just add pics each time someone posts new ones. The only problem is I need more than 5 gallerys, or I didn't know if you could create a generic user that has the capabilities of having more than 5 galleries. Let me know what you think.

I had asked earlier if anyone minded me compiling all of our dresses into one gallery, so that we didn't have to fish through 115 pages looking for pics. No one minded, so I have them all saved and half way put into the gallery. As we thought may be a problem, I have run out of room. I am going to make another user with one of my other emails for right now, but does anyone have any suggestions? I am going to email Tammy (host) and see if she can create a generic gallery that will hold them, but until then they are up. Please let me know if I missed any or if you changed the dress and need it updated, we are known to do that on occasion. Also, I listed described them by our actual user names since some of us have the same name and some people don't know our individual names.

Well actually, Castellamonte is in the same neighborhood and comes highly reccommended, you can find it everywhere. We had decided on going there and then were looking for other accomodations in the area for extra gifts and stumbled upon the Sunrise. We later found out they are like three houses apart in the same gated resort community, and apparently the owners are friends as well. Although we though Castellamonte looked more luxurious and had the same accomodations, the Sunrise seemed to flow better. I love the idea that guests can be playing pool in the living room that has huge double opening doors that spill right into the awesome bar they have, with enough seating for the entire guest list. Then the bar backs right up to the hot tub, which spills over into the pool. You have four areas right there that are all close enough and arranged so that the guests can mingle and still feel "together" which is what we are going for. And, the seperate villas give a lot more privacy to the guests than seperate suites off of the same guest house. Anyway, as far as the price, if you rent the villa for like 5 nights, which is sufficient, and you do it in the low season, like we are, in April, it is very cost effective. You can ask the guests to pay for their own shuttle and food and activities. Then you just have the Villa rental to worry about. You could even ask the guest to pay a portion towards the accomodations if you wanted to. You wouldn't have to tell them its all one fee, just break it down by the villas and have them pay that way. I have read a few reviews online and everyone describes it the same way, living in the lap of secluded luxery(sp?), or live like you are famous or royalty, but for low cost. The place is only a few years old though and hasn't been able to build up the norioty that its sister villas have. But, the price is a little better too, lol!

No problem, and I am completely OCD, so it will make me feel so much better, lol. I am working on them now and it would be very easy to do Alphabetical for the ones we have but adding the new ones coming wouldn't be doable. I am also doing it by the User name and not our names for confusion sake. But boy is it hard when you want to go back and find someones dress!

I agree, I have found myself practically begging my family to come and that is rediculous. She should be asking what she can do for you not the other way around..."Ask not what the bride can do for you, but what you can do for your bride!" It is times like this that you find out who your "real" friends are, and 9 times out of 10 it will surprise you.

LMAO... what is it with our FI's worried about how much we will be packing That's all I have heard is, that is too much to take with us. What do they think we will be packing 100 pair of shoes... oh wait, we will (and probably only wear 2 of them) Or, does he think we will have 20 bags and they will have to carry them all?... oh wait, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to start this conversation, lol.

No, they don't care. It would be treated as a regular wedding ceremony, since it really is. They will let you say or do whatever you want, the sky is the limit. We are working now to get a copy of what she is planning on saying to see if we want to tweak it. And I think we are going to throw in a few words to each other but leave the rest alone. I would love to be mushy and say my own vows (I have been saving love letters and cards to pull stuff from for 5 years) but I know I will be too nervous and too emotional to talk and if he starts pouring his heart out I will melt into a pool of mascara mess right in front of him, lol. So, I think we are gonna skip it

I love these. I wanted to do something that had our names and dates and whatnot but the bags were sooo expensive. And, I think this is something that guys and girls will keep and reuse! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I will compile some of my info and send it to you. A lot of it is email correspondance, so you may get a lot of typing, lol. The legal part is a little tricky... but I think we have decided what to do, thanks to the boards suggestions. You have to be in the DR for at least three days before you can legally wed, like most places. So, we get there on Monday and are getting married on Friday. We could go on Thursday or Saturday to do the legal part, but we aren't sure we want to waste the time. They have a legal marriage officiant doing the ceremony but you have to go to the "courthouse" and file it with two witnesses. So, we have decided instead of doing that and wasting our time there, we will go the the Justic of the Peace here in our hometown and do the legal part before we leave. It just makes it easier. We aren't going to tell anyone we are doing it because our "real" wedding day and the day we will celebrate will be when we profess our love to one another in front of each other and our friends and family, not when the courts tell us they have time to record it. So, that is what we will do. But it would be very easy to take the 1-2 hours out of a day in the DR to go finalize it to, whatever you think. The price went from 125 to 500 to do this, but if you get married at Sunrise, it is included in the price of the wedding. I will send you the email, let me know if you think of anything else.

OMG, I love those. I did those for a friends wedding, but the Martha Stuart version... everyone loved them and went on and on about how cute they were and they cost nothing to make. this is what they looked like: Tissue Pouches for Your Guests Distribute these tissue pouches to your guests before the ceremony for their tears of joy. To make a pouch, crease an 8 1/2-by-11-inch piece of sturdy yet pliable paper widthwise three times: 2 inches from the top, 5 inches from the top, and 1 inch from the bottom. Fold the first flap back, the second up, and the third down to make a cuff. Center a tissue on the sheet; fold back the sides where the tissue ends; weave the flaps into one another to secure. Turn over the pouch, and insert tissues. Decorate as desired: We stamped each pouch with a phrase and tucked in a phlox blossom.
