  1. I know! I stopped going to the tanning salon when I found out about being pregnant and was thinking, darn, now I'll for sure never get this tan line thing solved. I have to say, I never thought about spray tanning though. Hmmm, I'll have to look into that. That might work! I just don't want to have an orange hue... maybe if they just fill in the lines it'll work.
  2. I think that would be an awesome thing to do. I'm sure the parents would appreciate it!
  3. So normally I tan really easily and never burn. Last summer the FI and I went to the beach and fell asleep (bad us). This resulted in horrible sunburns, my very first. I had been wearing shorts over my bikini bottoms and my bikini top had a bow on the back. Luckily I must have been turning in my sleep, because I got a full burn on both sides (or the burn just went right through me!) but it turned into a nice tan, with the exception of really funky looking tan lines (I had a pair of white skin shorts and a big bow across my back along with nice triangle shapes on my boobs!). Flash forward to this year... I still have the tan lines!!! Is that f'ing riduiculous or what? You can still totally see the tan lines on my boobs and back especially. I thought tanning before the wedding would even it out, but it hasn't. It's super freaky. They just look like new tan lines now. WTF is up with that? It's like I got tan lines tattooed on my body or something because they won't go away
  4. I LOVE that. I just read about that somewhere the other day. So cute. Google Maps is very blunt!
  5. Haha. Wow, it does look like a commercial for DW's, especially with the choice of music and commercials. Very cool.
  6. OMG, thank youfor posting that. I was trying to figure out if you could change the theme!!
  7. It's a little too small for me to see. From what I can see, it looks cute. I made a bunch of different ones before deciding on a final one though, so it definitely pays to experiment with a bunch of different options first!
  8. I didn't even realize you were still on your honeymoon. I thought you were posting from home! A two-week honeymoon? You and FI sure know how to celebrate! I'm jealous! That's awesome. Those pics are certainly enticing. Sounds like you are having a great time.
  9. Beautiful!!! And your pics are making me feel so much better about having a small wedding. My guest list just went down again due to people backing out and I was feeling kind of bummed that my guest count is down to 15, but after seeing how much fun your guests appear to be having, I'm happy!!
  10. I got the original sand ollar cookie packs Grandma LuLu's - Welcome it's 36 of 2-cookie packages. for the min. order for the kind I chose. They also have single cookie packages that are dipped in white chocolate Grandma LuLu's - Welcome They are a bit more expensive ($1.60) but the min. order for that one is only 12 total.
  11. I ordered these for favors and they came today. I just wanted to say I highly reccommend them! They are incredibly yummy and came packaged very well (not one was broken!! I'm sure I'll fix that when I send them to my WC!). If you are looking for favors, or an OOT bag addition, check these out. I bought the two cookie package which are only $1.20 each (with a min. order of 36) but there are a few varities. Original Sand Dollar Sugar Cookies: Grandma LuLu's Cookies

  13. Most of the insert type stuff was sent with the STD's. For the invites I only included the RSVP card and a transportation RSVP card (we made shuttle transportation optional since all our guests are staying at different places).
  14. Really? That's funny, I'm not too surprised though. After reading your post I really want a back treatment now though just to see how it is Never hurts to try right?
  15. Never tried that. I don't have back acne, but with the new warm weather, and with me stressing out trying to run around doing last minute wedding stuff, I've had a few blackheads cropping up on my back. I'm taking oral medication to control it. Although I'm sure a back facial would be nice, maybe it would be more effective to see a dermatologist and get some sort of acne treatment? And then do back treatments at the salon on top of that?
  16. i got the hibiscus playing cards from OTC and also found some crossword puzzle books at the dollar store.
  17. I bought my dress from Ebay. It was a bridal shop sample and was really in pretty good condition. Only needed some minor repairs (buttons on the back) and was worth it at ony $70. I saw a lot of nice dresses on ebay. The only sellers I was hesitant about buying from were the "made to size" dresses from sellers in China. Something about it just seemed sketchy, but I don't know, they could be great!
  18. Welcome back! You look so pretty! I can't wait to see more pics and hear more stories.
  19. The one thing you can do, is let me know what San Juan is like!! My dad's family is from there, but I've never been. On our way to the wedding, we have a connecting flight to catch in San Juan, depending on if our airline sorts some stuff out we might be there for 5 hours. I wanted to do some quick sight seeing, but FI is like "Eww, no San Juan is full of crime and drugs!" I mean I know they have their share of problems, but I'd like to show him that you can have a good experience there as well!!
  20. Nice selections. You're going to look hot in them. I love that chemise. It's totally cute, and not a bad price either!
  21. I agree about letting FI decide. I can definitely understand why you'd want to exclude her... or accidentally light her hair on fire during the unity candle ceremony (oops, did I say that?!?). But despite her b*tchiness, she has been in FI's life since he was 11 and I think it'd be rude to leave her out no matter how much you want to. I say just keep things as planned. I really can't believe she had the nerve to say something like that at your shower. That's totally rude and probably awkward. I would have had to fight back the desire to kick her in the shins! Good luck with that <3
  22. That's hysterical. I wish my FI had a bit groomzilla in him. I swear, other than the date and location, he seriously has no idea what's going on... and not because I've prevented him from helping. He's thinking is, I plan it, he pays. Blah! I need help!
