  1. That's fantastic!!! All the rings are great. Brian has a ring that's similar to Eric's. He loves it. Look at all your bling!
  2. Thanks Laura. Haha, yeah, luckily the bump is still pretty small as I was only 7/8 weeks at that point. You can see it if I'm in a t-shirt, but that's about all for now! Yeah, I love the feet pic too. Half the shots I had no idea she was taking which is cool. My favorite part was definitely the reception for two reasons: the entertainment was great and I was soooooo hungry at that point stuff my face with food felt so good! It was really a lot of fun though. But really, the best part of the wedding was seeing my dad again because I haven't seen him in 5 years and seeing my cousin Michael who I haven't seen since he was 10 and he's now 23!
  3. I don't have pictures of the necklace, but it was a white gold chain with a teardrop shaped pendant that had diamonds around the shape. In the middle is a pearl. It's pretty! Brian got it for me when we picked up my wedding ring! He also later got me earrings which are pretty and contain a pearl and diamonds surrounding it, but I wanted something a little "dangly" and those earrings were not, so I got some cute and inexpensives ones off of overstock.com
  4. I saw all these cute pieces I was going to buy... but decided to save my money. Brian's a typical guy, he could care less about lingerie, he's just into the naked. So, like RAENJAY said, the wedding ring was about all I wore! I do love to buy stuff from here though Lingerie by Agent Provocateur–Designer Lingerie, Sexy Stockings, Knickers, Beauty, Accessories
  5. Darn snapfish. Maybe the link changed since I deleted the first set. Here's a new link. Snapfish: Share:Registration
  6. Sorry!! I was uploading higher resolution images because I am making one of those albums on snapfish for the parents. They should be back up, if the resoultion looks funny, don't pay attention, that's just because I changed it. They print out perfectly.

I knew I was going to be getting the dress wet and sandy so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. It was $90 total (including shipping!!!)
  9. Thank you!! And yes, that's my dad hugging me. He totally bawled like a baby for 10 seconds. It made me want to cry, but I fought it because crying puffy faces aren't good for wedding pictures
  10. Finally got my pro pics. Love them. There are some goofy pics of me and FI (ie. the jumping ones) but I love them all. Hope you guys can access this link, if not, let me know! These were taken on Magen's Bay Beach. Snapfish: Share:Registration
  11. Hahaha, Laura, that's funny FutureMrsLavergne - I'm late and I think you already have a planner, but I used Janelle of islandblissweddings.com She is super nice and helpfu; and her fee is really low.
  12. I'm way late, but I think that would be so pretty!!!

There are usually small spaces in the raffia by the top base o fthe handle anyway, so I just slipped the ribbon through them. For those fans that didn't have any spaces, I just used scissors to push the ribbon through. It's a lot easier for me to do than explain properly! The ribbon width I used was 5/8"

I'm guessing that if you're just in contact with them and haven't put a deposit down with them, that this is the reason why. They usually are concerned that the bride will use the vender list and not contract them as the planner... That makes sense! I was wondering what the reason could be!
  15. I did these as well. The guests LOVED them. We ended up skipping the hanging ribbon though.
  16. I didn't but that's kind of weird about her not giving you the name of the photog? You should be able to access that info as a client. I wonder what the reason is!! Good luck! Do you have the option of bring your own photograher?

Other brides I know who have gotten married in St. Thomas absolutely LOVE the food at Mafolie. The think it's fabulous. It's a nice place, but Brian and I didn't like the food as much as everyone else. I think though the reason for this is more of a cheeseburger and fries guy and essentially has a ruined palate because all the fast fod he consumes. Me... I think it was a combo of ordering the wrong thing (I ordered a pasta dish that was tossed with vegetables and oil... and I'm more of a red sauce person, so this was my fault for ordering something I kinda knew I wasn't going to like) and the fact that a lot of food just tastes bad to me right now (pregnancy is fun!!). Considering the way everyone else raves about Mafolie though, I think you will be fine if you choose them. Plus the restuarant offers a great view... in fact, it was the same view you could see from our villa. The staff is really friendly and it would be a great choice. I can't say I've heard much about the Marriot though. What a tough decision!
