The traveling aspect of DW's are always a big deal to some people. I had a few complain about it too, but they came anyway. Most peope will think it's awesome though. Maybe they were hoping, since you want to have a DW, you'd do it in Ireland or something! Just politely tell them you are having it all the way in Mexico because that is what you want for your wedding. No further explanation is needed about your wedding decisions. Invite them, if they want to come, they will, if they don't, oh well, they are missing out!

What's a gourmet taco? I like traditional Mexican tacos, with shredded beef (I don't know if that's the right wording) as opposed to ground beef. Soooo good.

I let my mom pick out whatever she wanted to wear. I didn't really care about her matching or not. It all depends on your preference. She ended up wearing a champagne colored dress.

I love Target, but I must admitt, their return policy is a bit strict. I'm sure you can return for store credit (never did it though), but if you exchange, it has to be from the same dept and you have to have a reciept, if no receipt, you can show them your registry where the item is listed. But I don't know info other than that.

I haven't had it, but I want to so bad!!! I'm just trying to convince the husband why it would be a good idea. He's all worried something will happen.

I had an "informal" dress and last minute I decided I wanted something more "bridal." I got mine off of Ebay for $70 plus $20 shipping. It was a floor model from a bridal shop. It was in GREAT condition. The only thing was one button was missing on the back which I easily reparied no problem.

I HAAAATE cooking. And usually I can get enough sympathy that Brian will cook, but we also do a lot of takeout and frozen dinners (how horrible!!). He loves when I cook though, because I am a good cook (tooting own horn), I just hate to do it. Our poor children are going to be eating at their friend's houses a lot!!
