  1. Ditto what everyone else said about not feeling pressured to invite them if you weren't originally. Same thing happened to me. Everyone and their mother started to think they were invited and prettymuch just invited themselves. My friend's PARENTS who I don't really care for invited themselves. I just told everyone very politely that the wedding was super small, and there was limited space at the reception anyway (which there was... kinda!). Don't worry about it.
  2. Haha. That is so funny. He's looks adorable in it!
  3. Since your wedding is so soon, have most of your guests already booked? If so, can they get their deposit / flight money back? Or maybe moved to another Couple's resort? I'm just curious how that's working out with hotels and such. If those affected are refunding any deposits.
  4. Ah, it's so easy to get stressed, especially when it feels like everything is happening at once. I've been there. But try not to worry. I promise that towards the end, it so doesn't even matter what did and didn't get done. And once the big day is there, you don't even miss all those little details. You do still have a decent amount of time. Like pp said, focus on getting yourself better first and deal with everything else when you can.
  5. PS. This is totally off topic, sorry, but I love that little hooded thing Rayden is wearing. I think the whole "animal ears" thing is so cute for kids. Is is one of those hooded bath towels he's wearing, or is it a hooded sweatshirt? I love it whatever it is!!
  6. Cute! It's funny, for the longest time Brian and I were really into the name Jackson as well. I think if we didn't become so enamored with the name Aiden, we'd be naming this baby Jackson (I mean, if it's a boy that is!). I still really love that name though. And ooooh, yes! I agree with Tami. Desserts are another awesome idea. Breafast foods are also another idea as Tami mentioned. I'm not really into breakfast foods, but I know my friend used freeze pancakes. Stir Fry can also be frozen and reheated.

I buy from them occassionally, when I get motivated enough to try a simple project! 9. I agree, the paper catalog is easier to take in. I ordered plam fans, parasols, starfish, playing cards, pens, keychains, flip flop sticky notepads, his/her mugs.
  10. Cute idea! I got a cute black and white "Do not disturb/Just Married" Door hanger. Scented candles. One of those little kinky dice games. Love cuffs! Mints. How about a romantic DVD (if they have a dvd player in their room. I know I wish I packed DVD's for our nights in).
  11. Well everyone already mentioned what I would suggest! I don't know if you already posted this and I missed it, but what is she having (sex)? Names? That's exciting. I'll have to remember to do that. Freeze meals ahead of time, or else we will be ordering A LOT of take out!

TMZ.com Here's the link to the People article: Heidi Montag 'Upset' Over Leaked Song - Heidi Montag : People.com I was just going to post that. Suuuuuure it isn't the real single. Suuuuuuure it was just them messing around. Uh-huh.
  15. Also did everything gender neutral. But if you are doing more gifty style bags as opposed to things like aspirin, body wash, etc. Cards and dice, bottle openers, beer koozies, mints, poker chips...
  16. After I made my post (slow typing today) i saw your website url. It's perfect for what I was talking about!
  17. I didn't bother to do a wedding website. To me, it was wasted money. However, I already have hosting space, so I could have just registered a domain name and forwarded to one of my exisiting hosting sites. However, I think a smart idea would be to pick a non wedding name. Like jackandjill.com as opposed to jackandjillswedding.com. Or thesmiths.com. That way you can still the domain after the wedding for a post-wedding site. You could continue it as a "family website." Blogs, pictures of you, your pets. If you have kids you can put a section which focuses on that aspect of your life, etc. Also, if you guys have family parties (ie at christmas, thanksgiving, etc.) you can include all that info on your site as well.
  18. Since obviously quite a few of us like The Hills, I thought I'd share. This is Heidi's music track from her upcoming release. Spencer is RAPPING on the track. http://tinyurl.com/2ju6ef
  19. I had a few people not RSVP but that came. The only reason I was even prepared from them is that I heard through word of mouth that they were coming. RSVP's are so frustrating. You can't make it any easier for these people to send the card back, but they don't.
  20. I had totally meant to order a starfish toe ring from there to wear on my wedding day, but never got around to doing it It's a really cute site though!
  21. Sourpuss! I know those girls! There store is not far from where I live. I have a few little outfits from there. So cute. And yeah, I was going to say, I wish I knew how to sew because I'd rip up old band shirts, but ummm, that would so not work out well unless my kid has one arm on top of his head or something the way I sew!
  22. Oh, duh. I should read first. It's such a cute store. They have a lot of cool stuff. I have now added it to my extensive collection of "alternative" baby clothing bookmarks. Brian is going to kill me if I buy anything else Ever notice how "punk" themed baby/kids clothes are so damn expensive? Totally defeats the whole purpose of the "punk" mindset, no? Did you check out the actual Me in Mind website. I just looked it up. They do ship to canada (for the low, low price of $17!).
