i wouldn't freak out until there is something to freak out about. take a test ASAP and then deal with it. don't get yourself worked up for something you aren't so sure about. it'll be ok. i can understand if you aren't mentally ready and why you would freak out. but you have options so just try and stay calm for now.

Wow, the mom is actually asking for toys! Haha, I'm already figuring out ways to limit toys as much as possible for Aiden as we've already gotten a few noisy gifts. No real suggestions. I'm a dork so I would go for more education toys, like wooden puzzles and books and stuff.

MIL really wanted me to have a shower. She was really pushing for it. I just simply told her I'm not into showers, I appreciate the thought, but it's just not my thing and having one would make me feel awkward. She was disappointed, but understood.

I can't go to my friends wedding next week because my dr said she'd prefer for me not to fly during and beyond my 30th week. She should really talk to her doctor though as it really depends on her current health and the status of her pregnancy.

Ditto on craft stores. However, if you don't find what you need there, I usually get boxes from Boxes, Shipping Boxes, Shipping Supplies, Packaging Materials, Cardboard Boxes - ULINE Also, don't forget to cheap out dollar stores. I got my favor boxes from Dollar Tree.

Cute! I know what it is!!! No I don't. But someone said that to me with my first U/S and was totally wrong. I still think it's rad how "baby" shaped they are. I was shocked. I totally expected my 12 week u/s to look like some sort of alien blob. At 10 weeks it looks pretty similar to mine. Is there any reason they gave you the u/s at 10 weeks as opposed to 12 or 13? When is your next?

If I could have it my way, I'd totally be like your sister and have my tree color scheme match my house decor because I'm a freak like that. Unfortuantely, DH doesn't always adhere to my guidelines and therefore we have an assortment of ornaments. I would love a more uniform look, but alas, Brian will pop up with all these crazy Christmas decorations and foils my plans. We however only use clear lights, not colored. But we don't really have a "theme" per say, unless you count chaos as one of them. I don't even know if we'll get to have a tree this year. Depends on how fast I can get he living cleaned out and set up

i didn't even realize they had a due date. that seems silly since you can change your legal name at anytime. why would they put a restriction on marriage? i haven't changed mine yet but may in the future.

Hmm, my colors were black and white as well but I didn't have a "theme" other than the color combo. For favors there are lots of cute black and white favors available. Bottle openers, bottle stoppers, chocolate dipped strawberries, black and white cookies, mint tins, candles, black and white m&m's, etc. As far as decorations, what were you thinking? You can buy white starfish and seashells and sand. You can tie black ribbon around the white starfish and attach a note for favors. Or make a centerpiece out of the white sand with black candles...
