  1. I sent out my OOT bags in advance. It worked out well. People were able to bring what they wanted and not have any "extra" stuff to take back that they didn't want to be bogged down with.

  4. this has proven very very hard. i feel like i have the same three names for every answer. need to start again!
  5. I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.
  6. cute idea. this is gonna help me kill some time!
  7. STD's were important to me because I wanted to allow people to plan and save up. Your date is pretty close... I don't know how many people you are inviting or how many people know when/where you are getting married... but I would say the sooner the better as far as giving people a head's up about the date and location. Especially since payment is due by a certain date. I sent out invites two months before the RSVP deadline just because I wanted to sort of remin everyone to get their stuff together and to give those procrastinators some time to figure out if they were coming or not. At this point I would say STD's are optional, but you should give people some notice of your plans.
  8. that has happened to me in the past. usually i just post something and then i'm able to view the "missing" posts/pages.

  10. that is AWESOME!!!!!! go Amir!!
  11. "big headed monkey"!!! that's hysterical. kids are so awesome, just wish they didn't screw your body in the process. i never thought of trying a girdle. i've never had a six pack, but that would be awesome!i'm still wearing my belly band though.

I would definitely start with crunches every other day. Work up over time in terms of quantity. d) if that doesn't work, I reccomend pilates dvd's - 20 minutes/3 times per week & you will be very good to go! haha. thanks for the advice Christa! i'll definitely try a pilates dvd if i'm not where i want to be before swimsuit season. That should show results for you. ooooh, i hadn't even thought of looking through on demand. that's awesome. i'll definitely check that out tomorrow morning. I like to then drop down to my forearms and do it again. Another totally easy and effective one is side bends. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and one arm up above your head stretch to each side (8-10) reps and repeat until you're tired! sounds good. will try those. thanks girls!

If you know a woman who is obsessed with becoming a mom and getting pregnant, then SUBMIT BELOW. Please do not submit unless you are willing to appear on “The Tyra Banks Show". Wow. Struggling for years to concieve is considered obsessed with becoming a mom?! Stalking the maternity ward at the hospital and shouting "That baby should be mine!" to the moms is obsessive. Now that would be a problem. By these standards I could probaly qualify for this show. I haven't struggled, but I spent a good year going back and forth with Brian on why we should TTC when we did instead of waiting a few years. The producers could not only spin that into me being obsessive, but me forcing Brian into parenthood I'm sure! I've always hated talk shows.
  14. great faq. i feel like a search dummy sometimes though. like i can remember post being made on a certain subject, but can never find them in search. maybe i'm using the wrong terms or something. the subjects i'm trying to look up are usually a little more specific so maybe that's why?
  15. So I'm pretty sure Tammy had written a post on this or something similiar after having Jackson, but either I'm totally missing it, or it was deleted or something. I've tried every search term combo I could think of. Anyway! I've never exercised EVER, but it's become very apparent after having a baby that I need to do something. Ok, so my stomach has gone down. I don't really have a belly left, but there is a little something. I don't think it's flab, but it's definitely jiggly and I'd like to tone and tighten it up a bit! For those of you who actually exercise and know what the heck you are doing (becaue I have no clue!), what do you suggest? The only things I can think of are sit-up and stomach crunches. Would those be the best types for toning the area? I don't want to lose weight at all, just tighten. That's why I'd rather just do this at home as opposed to going to a gym. I know everyone is probably different, but should I do this stuff everyday? How long per day? Would 10-15 minutes a day be enough to see results? I mean, I'm not expecting overnight results, but I just don't know if 15 minutes worth of stomach exercises is even going to do anything, or if it's something I should invest more time in. Thanks for any help! I feel so out of my element with this.
  16. i couldn't read the message, it flashed too fast for me, but i think i get the gist. i love top model, but i always thought her talk show was lame anyway. dh think she's a sel-centered tool, so her show is basicaly already banned in our house!
  17. Cute!! Although, ummm, I don't know about that martini!
  18. Yeah, I caught it. Did you ever watch Beauty and the Geek? That girl Megan was on that show too. It took me forever to figure out why she looked so damn familiar. Now, one thing I have to say. I'm not a fan of bashing other girls based on their looks, but I'm sorry, that girl they call Frenchie... damn, she's kind of F-ugly! Must be all that work she had done and the makeup. How the hell is she even considered "hot"?!?
