One of my faults is my impatience. I like things done quickly, I like things to happen fast. I'm always tapping my foot and watching my clock. I need to learn to chill out. **Oops! I'll answer your question too LadyCheese since we posted at the same time** My one wish would be just to be happy/content without wondering if I would be happier doing something else. I don't know if that makes sense. I have a tendency to always wonder "what if I chose another path" and that keeps me from being truely happy with what I have. If you had one day to live, what would you do?

I didn't change my last name, but may in the future, especially since we have Aiden. The only downside of not changing my last name is that if something is under my last name, people call Brian "Mr. Mylastname." Or they get all confused when they see our two different last names and think we're not married or something. I use his last name socially though, just not legally. My main reason for not changing was for the same reasons Michelle said. All my schooling and professional achievements are under my last name. It gets confusing to change it now. But like I said, I still might. IDK. Maybe I'll just add his name onto mine, but not hypenate it.

We had no trouble with the driving in St. Thomas. Sure, at first the hills and oppposite side of the road thing threw us off, but as long as you are a decent driver normally, it's not that difficult to quickly get the hang of it.

I sure wish I had a medical reason to smoke up. That'd be awesome. You think that's crazy... you should take a trip to Japan! They have some kick ass vending machines there.

i haven't seen any that are too large. if they stretch out my screen, then yes, it's annoying, but i haven't seen any that bad. but apparently you can turn the off so that should take care of the problem for you!

My confession... which is not so secret because I've told Brian about it, but MIL is starting to seriously GET ON MY NERVES. She's so super clingy when it comes to Brian. She calls about EVERYDAY to talk about the stupidest stuff. Like "Oh I want to tell Brian how I found a set of pencils with the name Brian on them." She spent the night over at our house on Valentine's Day (she invited herself!!), when she comes and visits, it's not for a couple of hours like my parents, but for 8 freaking hours (and she doesn't live far). There's more, but I could go on forever. She is just driving me freaking crazy. It bugs me even more Brian isn't telling her to back off even though he's annoyed too. He says he wants to avoid drama, but I swear, he's so not gonna like it if I snap and tell her to back off.

That's EXACTLY what Brian said to me the whole time. It pissed me off. I think the most frustrating part for me was that I had so much else going on and techically, I didn't even want a wedding, he did (I was all about eloping). The wedding was just another thing on my plate and I needed some help. But I mean, most guys just aren't into this sort of thing. Eventually I just said screw it, I'll do things the way I want them, if he bitches later, oh well.

I didn't use Angela, but I did use a wedding coordinator. If you can afford it, I say try and get one. It was very helpful. I was going to school full time and working full time when I was planning my wedding. My WC made all the calls for me, got everything set up, distrubted the payments, etc. All I basically had to do was say "I want this, this and this." Plus my WC was a sweetheart and I had non-WR questions about the island that she was able to answer and helped me locate a villa and helped me make maps, etc. At the time I used her, her fee was only $175 and it was so worth every penny!

Ugh, Spencer is creepy! Creepy looking and just a creepy personality. I agree, I sometimes feel bad for Heidi because Spencer is such a douche. Brian HATES that I watch this show. I mean really hates it. I have to watch it when he's at work or asleep.

you girls have such neat houses! i'm still working on our bedroom which will be my favorite room. the only room i've completed so far is the kitchen which i posted pictures of awhile back. still sloooooowly working on the other rooms. hard to get out an shop with little aiden. i can't buy house decor online, i have to touch and go over it a million times before deciding. i'll try and post pictures of Aiden's nursery soon.

My family is from NYC. I lived in NYC for awhile. Absolutely LOVE it. But I also looooooove Boston. We want to take a trip there soon. DH is a HUGE RedSox fan and HATES the Yankees (who of course my family loves). But to be fair, he was born in Chicago (another city I love) and down here is Phillies territory anyway. Really, I just love major cities in general. I love the city life! I have a friend who lives in Boston, and normally I think Boston accents are so unattractive, but I think it's totally hot when she says "Cah" and "Bah" and whatever else with her little accent. I could listen to her all day!

St. Thomas shopping is basically all jewelry. Every other store is a jewelry store!! You'll have no problems finding something. The H. Stern Outlet is great. Cardow is also nice. I found that the smaller stores are more willing to go lower on the prices than the bigger stores.
