Hey, you live close to me! I'm in Burlington Township. I'm at the CherryHill Mall all the time. Actually I'm going there in about a 1/2 hour! It's a great town. We were looking there, but we are already further south than I wanted to be, didn't want to add another 20 minutes on top of the extra 20 minutes I already did to my commute when we moved here. But they have a lot of reasonably priced houss for a desirable area.

hello jessica! great name congrats on your upcoming wedding.

i watch 7am SBTB episodes all the time (actually watching them right now)! for awhile they were showing the college years. those episodes were horrible. that's definitely when the show jumped the shark for me. and ugh, dustin diamond. i had the (dis)pleasure of catching his skin flick at a party once. i've never been so traumatized!

well as long as no one has booked their tickets, change away! i didn't even bother telling anyone our location (because we did go back and forth) until i officially booked things and started sending out STD's.

How funny. This show should be lame. Oh my god. I'm totally going to sign Brian up ::sneaky laughter!:: He HATES Paris. Quote: Originally Posted by Tlseege I signed up for this. HA HA! Weird I actually bet she'd be pretty fun to hang out with... but then again, probably only for a day! LOL!! I'm going to tell everyone to vote for you. You are so Paris' new BFF.

this sucks morgan! when i was 18 my car was broken into and they tookmy stereo. unfortunately i was 18 and broke and couldn't replace it so i drove around in silence for like a year with my car looking super ghetto because of the missing stereo. what jerks!

nice! i looooove the living room and the family room! ugh, ripping out carpet is a major pain in the ass. our house is COVERED in carpet. hardwood floors lie beneath. i've only ripped up one room so far. i'm starting to regret not ripping it all up first because now i'm gonna have to move furniture and stuff to take the carpet out of the rest of the house.

i make up random words on the fly. weird things just come out of my mouth when i talk. i can't really recall any specifically though because i basically just pull them out of my ass.

happy birthday julie!!!

House guests are always a really good idea to me until around the second day of them being "guests." I can't stand people "in my space." I would be freaking out if they were drinking green beer on my expensive couch. I can just envision the fall of green beer from the mug to the couch in slo-mo. Ugh.

Yeah, our tables were set up on the beach among the public bar. Which was fine. No one bothered us (except to say "congratulations" as we passed people, but really it was fine. There is the private room though if you would prefer to be seperated, but where we were located, we could easily see the entertainment without leaving our seats. We didn't really have a big issue. However most of us already had bug bites from just being on the island for a few days beforehand. I was basically attacked by bugs 24/7 no matter where I was! There was a dance floor on the sand in front of the live band.

Yeah, I don't really have any favorites either. I'm pretty neutral about the whole cast. No one really stands out to me. I miss Dick and Jen from last season. Love them or hate them, they were entertaining!

Happy St, Patty's day!!!! What's everyone doing St. Patrick's Day??
Jessica replied to MsShelley's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
Brian is Irish, but his family doesn't celebrate. Brian doesn't really drink anyway, so he's not into it. -

My fiance (by the way....what does "FI" stand for?) loves Iggie's and when I told him about your reception he thought it was a great idea. I'm also looking into Coral World, but have no idea of the prices. The quesiton is will we be fortunate enough to be lucky that all the entertainment is going on the day we were planning on getting married?! Did you tell them in advance that you were all going there and having the reception there? Or did you just all show up and party? Were you staying at that resort also / a guest at Iggies for the night? I will check out Mafolie's, I was talking to my TA today and she suggested calling the travel and tourism beureua in NY for options. Something will come up! My WC got in touch with the event coordinator at Bolongo, so yes, it was a planned reception at Iggie's. They knew we were having a wedding reception there and the hostess of the entertainment even announced it! We got to choose our food from a menu. We got to pick to main entrees, three sides and dessert. The food was served family style, so guests didn't have to pick if they wanted steak or chicken in advance. The food we picked from the larger menu was all placed at each table and guests got to pick from there. We had 20 guests total. Iggies reserved a section of tables on the beach for us and set up our centerpieces and favors. We also had the option of reserving the covered dining area off to one side of the bar, but I opted for beach front seating. I still have the document they sent me about all of their reception options (includes prices, food choices, location choices, etc). If either of you want me to send it to you, PM me with your email and I'll send it over. My wedding was in May 2007, so I don't know if the prices changed, but at least you'll have an idea if this is something you want to consider. Carnival night is every Wednesday, but I think there is a time in the year when they don't do it. I'm not sure what month(s) that is though. However, since the reception was planned, and they knew I wanted to do it on a carnival night, they verified that carnival night would be held when we were there. We ddn't stay at Bolongo. Some of our guests did. It's a pretty low key hotel. Nothing fancy, but they didn't have any complaints. Brian and I rented a studio villa for our stay on the island. LMK if you have any more questions. I'll be happy to help! PS. One of the days we went to Coral World, we saw a wedding being held there. It was very pretty! That was going to be my second choice! St. Thomas Wedding Receptions | Wedding Receptions in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands was also another site I was looking at.

i had my reception at iggie's beach bar on a wednesday night (which was their carnival night, so entertainment was free!). it was a LOT of fun, but also really casual. i don't know if you're looking for something more formal. mafolie's is another really pretty reception option. nice little restaurant with an AMAZING view, especially pretty at night. i don't know what the cost would be pp though.

being in school for marriage and family therapy, i can also say that gottman is incredble in respects to this topic. i've modeled a lot of my techniques based on his programs, lecturers etc. also check out this website: The Gottman Institute - for more gottman information, research, workshops, etc.

how fun!!! glad you guys had a great time. welcome back!

the cost was definitely a factor on why i went away. damn jersey weddings are $$$. plus, i love to travel and i'm so not into the whole traditional wedding thing. plus i knew if we had a NJ wedding, my MIL would invite her whole town and i so didn't want that. i wish i could have a DW every year!!

i'd rather have jen back than allison. allison annoyed the sh*t out of me.
