And Jamy, that's funny about the myspace account. I would totally do the same thing (as both you and their mom!).

Chelsia is rude! I really wanted to like her, but she rubs me the wrong way. She's one of those people that can't take what she dishes out. She can go!

we didn't do an AHR. no one thought it was rude because no one really knows much about DW stuff or the AHR concept. besides, our family is so spread out, if they really wanted to travel across the country, they would have just came to the wedding! i sent everyone mini photo albums of wedding pics that i put together myself for friends and family who couldn't come to the wedding.

myspace is just insane with the pictures of these girls in sexy poses. i agree, i also think access to the internet and sites like myspace (or friendster really when it was popular), hot or not, etc are a part of the reason being "sexy" is considered the new thing now. it's funny, because i was by no means an angel when i was growing up, but nothing i did even compares to what i see with young kids now. yikes. i seriously hope somehow myspace vanishes from existance by the time my kids are teenagers. maura - that's horrible about your nephew's mother... and about your friend's mom. i think some parents think that the way to stay close to their kids is to be their best friend and not actually parent them.

or are young girls (college aged and younger) a bit... um... sluttier these days?! first my younger cousin (who's about 21) is posing nude on some soft porn site (&)$#)@*)(!!!), a few of her friends are on a Girls Gone Wild Video.... I was looking through my younger brother's myspace page and practically all of his friends (real life friends, i've met many of them) are half dressed with their boobs hanging out all over the place in their pictures, and I swear to god, this little lolita clerk at Target today was totally hitting on Brian. what. the. f--k?!? a couple of summers ago my friend and i went to this amusement park, and i felt like a pedophile because everywhere i looked underage girls were running around in skimpy bikinis. it's insane. is it me?!! i NEVER thought i was a prude, but sheesh! it seems like nowadays young girls aspire to be naked on the internet, or have the sexiest myspace pictures... i mean, sure, the human body is beautiful, but girls these days are just like giving it away to whoever wants to see it. it makes me sad and sick all at the same time. i feel old. Aiden better not be bringing home any little tramps when he starts dating!

not really, but my dad doesn't live close by really. brian does hang out my brother though when my bro visits us.

i think the onlookers make things more fun! there was a guy in speedo who propped himself against a tree and watched our wedding. i so wanted our photog to catch that in a picture because i thought it would have been funny, but she shot around him. there was also a little girl, about 7, who kept flashing us her butt while we were doing after ceremony shots. again, my photog edited her out! i thought that would have been hysterical to have in our wedding pictures!

oooh, i hate seafood too. in fact, anything related to fish grosses me out (this caused a serious problem while in the water at the beaches). however, i found no problem finding lots of non-seafood food choices. you'll be fine!
