i agree, try and post pictures of you wearing it, or at least a full length pic of the dress. i was considering doing those ebay custom orders from china, but i was so scared that i would get ripped off. i'm sorry you are disappointed! i hope you can find something else that you love. would have been a really pretty dress if it was like the actual one in the first pictures!

i also used janelle and she's super sweet! she's even cooler in person!

good luck!!! i agree with having a friend take him out. that will the toughest thing about BD pics for me. brian is so freaking nosey, at our house or somewhere else i'm going to have to make up some intricate lie.

Thanks for the tips Maria!! I'm sort of thinking about getting back into photography, but I didn't jump on the digital camera bandwagon until late, so they are all pretty new to me. Your adivce helps though! That Fujifilm one looks pretty neat. I'll have to look into it. Melissa, that Canon has been the one I've been looking at as well!!!

pretty much!!!! i just want to be more versatile in my photos of Aiden and when we go on vacation and stuff. i actually have a point and shoot and a really nice film camera, but considering i have film sitting in it from 4 years ago, i think it's safe to say i'm really lazy at getting film developed!

Bridge is sort of like a DSLR camera, but with a few differences - without the reflex, lens fixed to body and some other differences in aperture, ISO, etc. I just edited my post, I'll take DSLR recs too. I may actually prefer a DSLR over a bridge now that I'm really thinking about it.

normally i think that kind of stuff is cheesey, but this one was really cute and funny! i loved it when the kids came out. i LOVE dancing, but DH hates dancing (because he dances like a white boy - his words!) so he would never do it. but if your DH is up for it, do it!

I didn't buy them gifts really, but I did make both sets of parents wedding albums after I got our pics back. I think that's a gift many do! We also bought our parents "momentos" while we were on the island. We bought our moms necklaces and our dads got these fancy money clips.

I wasn't really embarassed about my friend seeing my picture. I've known him since I was 18, so he's seen them before! But yeah, I'm just happy it was him and not like my brother or someone that would be awkward!

I'm sure he's fine as well! Brian does this to me all the time. Seriously pisses me off. Sometimes guys just don't think that we'd worry as mch as we do!

I'm looking to finally invest in a bridge or dslr digital camera. I have a point and shoot and a 35mm SLR, but I decided I needed to take that next step. Although I was once very much into photography, I've kinda fallen out of the loop and am lost on which one to get. Wants: -something that i can buy a remote for -short shutter lag/high shuttr speed -I'd preferably like to spend less than $600-$700 -something that is Jessica-resistant (I tend to drop things a lot!) -doesn't HAVE to be a super zoom, but would be cool -manual mode Any suggestions?

Who does them!? I send DH naughty pics and texts while he is at work all the time! It's awesome. Gotta love cell phones. (Although, you gotta be careful with leaving those pictures on your cell phone. I forgot to delete one and my friend was using my phone to take pictures of something while we were out and all of a sudden I hear him say "Jess! I just saw your boobs!!!" Oops!)

that sucks!!!! my DH snores sometimes. usually i just keep hitting him until he wakes up. if i can get him to change positions, he usually stops snoring.

I agree with seeing a therapist. You should be able to find a behavioral therapist that is trained in using Systematic desensitization/graduated exposure therapy. This will help you in a step by step approach at reducing your negative reaction. Good luck!
