What a narc!!!! I know a few cops and if they are off duty and see something minor like that, they might nicely tell the person so they can avoid getting a ticket from an on duty cop... but to actually call someone. Wow!!!!

I feel like a biatch, but I totally don't believe in love at first sight. Lust that becomes love, definitely.... but not straight out love at first sight. I don't understand how you can love someone before you know anything about them. And although I think Mariah is pretty, there's something skanky about her at the same time and she just seems nutso. And him... well the only thing I know about him is that he had some silly show on MTV and he looks waaaaaay young. But that's just my opinion! Yay for them. Hope it works...

I agree with Christine about my favors collecting dust. But if you don't want to do a donation thing, I'm always a fan of food favors. Cookies are my favorite favor gift ever! I've gotten favors at all the baby showers I've been too. Hmm. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Since I made my last post in this thread about watching one episode, I've since watched all the other episodes that have followed and am HOOKED. Great! Like I need another reality show to obsess over. Anyway, I've totally made catty comments about fake boobies (even though I'm so getting myself a pair!), but I think why everyone is pissed off is because after learning about the situation, Jackie refused to apologize for the comments. It sucks they had to lose sponsers over it, but what can you do. Oh well!!

I think it's a good idea. I wrote a whole novel on our boxes, DH was so mad. I put the name of the room they go in, the person the contents belonged to and the actual contents (ie. summer skirts, hair products, etc)

I LOVE this show. I usually don't spread that around though. I watch way too many of these dramatic high school based shows Although, I totally used to get served all the time in NYC when I was underage. It pays to know scummy people in high places! I'm really not surprised about the supposed killing. DH actually called it to a T and he doesn't even watch the show (he says he guessed so spot on becauses it's predictable.. whatever!). Can't wait to see how the whole Serena-Georgina-Dan thing unfolds.

That is so weird. I don't know if it's illegal to allow a passenger onto a flight when he doesn't officially have a seat, but it at the very least should be a violation of jet blue's policy. I have only flown jet blue once and it was ok, but I always hear such bad stories about them!!

Awesome. Thanks for all the advice. I have a lot to look into. Hahaha Jamy, yeah, FI and I are kind of on the anti-social side as well. I mean, we like meeting new people, but we, me especially, kinda like to do our own thing and don't like to do a lot of small talk stuff. I'm trying to broaden my horizons though!! And that drink bill is definitely something to keep in mind. DH is primarly a beer drinker and he doesn't even drink a whole lot, but me... well I like those fancy mixed drinks and once I get on a roll, that bill racks up pretty fast!

I was just checking out the RC website and saw the Bayonne location cruises. You make cruises sound so fun. I was worried I'd be bored, but sounds like there's a lot to do. I want to go on one now!!! Thanks for the info.

Brian and I have been interested on going on a cruise ever since we were in St Thomas and kept seeing all the cruise ships pull up to port. Neither he nor I have ever been on one. There's so many cruise lines, I'm not sure where to start. We'd prefer a cruise for a younger crowd, but by younger crowd I don't really want it to be like a spring break type of crowd (ie. no hoochie mamas running around or frat type boys acting like drunk fools). We also want to start out with something short, like a 3 day cruise because I'm not sure how long I can hack being on a cruise ship. So yeah, please tell me about what cruises you've been on, what you did and didn't like, etc. Thanks!

Ahh, I remember those same issues from when I was on the DW board, except we just shut the trolls out and didn't feed into their drama so they left us alone. I know that on the nest board that I visit (which is where the former knotties I was with went) there was talk about the DW trolls occassionally because it's so bad compared to when we were there. I actually found out about this board from a post on the knot. I don't want those trolls coming over here though!

During the weekday, 8:30am is fine, on the weekend, I'd be pissed too. Actually I'd be pissed during the weekday because I never get any sleep, but because it's the weekday it's more forgivable. That said when we lived in an apt the maintanence people would be out at 7:30am every morning mowing the damn lawn. I so wanted to throw various objects at them. It was very annoying.
