  1. sorry girls!! i was MIA most of the weekend! Yes, you pick the celebs you want on your list (pick 20) and then at the end of signups, the site will automatically assign your team based on first come first pick I believe!
  2. You know, I heard that too, but left my engagement ring on. I did notice after a few days that my ring (which was white gold) became a little discolored in one spot, so I stopped wearing it in the pool. Not sure if it was the chlorine, but considering it was fine until I started wearing it in the pool, I vowed never to wear them in the pool again!
  3. I was just thinking about this today! I'm was thinking... hmmm, isn't her surgery coming up? LOL, I'm just way too into your boob job as you know! I can't wait to get rolling on mine. I'm sure you'll be fine. I hope you have a great recovery time and come out with an awesome new rack Can't wait to hear all about it.

  5. Trying to figure out a birthday gift to get my sister-in-law stresses me out. I've been with Brian for... umm, 6 years maybe?? I really don't keep track of that stuff, but what I know about his sister could fit in a thimble. She has some developmental and psychological issues that impact her socializing abilities. I always ask Brian, what should I get her, but he's of NO help to me. I usually like to give very personal and thoughtful gifts, but in this situation, it's hard. She's in her late 20's but sort of has the mindset of someone much younger. The only music I know she listens to is along the lines of pop music. I know she's into all that American Idol stuff and watches a lot of tv. Apart from gift cards, what could I possibly get her?!?
  6. Fafarazzi.com - Fantasy Celebrity Leagues and Reality TV Show Fantasy Games I did this with another board, but since I don't really post there anymore, I decided to bring it over here! It's sort of like fantasy baseball, except instead of baseball, it's centered on celeb gossip. FUN! Basically you can trade celebritites like baseball players in a fantasy league. I've created a league and you, as a member will have a team of stars you pick and you earn points if they are in the papers. It lasts for 3 weeks. It is really addicting. I can only have 12 teams in my league, so this will be done ona first come, first serve basis. But you are also free to start your own league as well! This is my league page (I'm in the process of making it pretty): Fafarazzi.com - Fantasy Celebrity League - Tinseltown Tarts II If you want to join, pm me and I will send you the password to join. Deadline to join is June 4th. Come on, you know you need another time waster!
  7. What the heck is this Shopper's World you speak of?! Never heard of it. But a cute $4 dress is right up my alley. I must find this place. What town is it in?

One of my friend's sisters was friends with her growing up (I only pieced this together recently when talking to that old friend). She cracks me up.
  9. I have no advice, but I feel your pain. Breaking up with a friend can be just as dramatic and hurtful as breaking up with a boyfriend. It sucks Hopefully one day you guys can straighten this out. Good luck.
  10. Your DH is the best! That is soooo awesome! Can you tell him to send Brian an email suggesting he do the same thing I would love that. Can't wait to hear where you end up!!!!
  11. I just skimmed an article about this. The lady is 50 right?!? I mean, hey I'm older than Brian, I'm all for hooking up a with a younger guy... but ummm, am I the only one who thinks this is odd?!? It's a little too "Michael Jackson/Debbie Rowe."
  12. Oh, good conversation. I miss so much when I sign on late in the day. I'm so glad this is a respectful discussion. I remember once having this discussion on another board (a parenting forum) and there were personal attacks and much name calling. So pointless!
  13. Whoa! That's cool, I guess. Good for them.
  14. Jennifer Block is the author's name: Amazon.com: Pushed: The Painful Truth About Childbirth and Modern Maternity Care: Jennifer Block: Books
  15. Oh, I agree!! I'm not anti c-section, but I personally would not opt to have a c-section unless it was neccessary. I won't go into my reasons, because I think it would be offensive to some of the girls who have chosen to go that route. Have you read Pushed? I forget who it's by It discusses all the info you just listed. It's a pretty good and interesting read on how our country pushes c-sections as being safer when that's not always true. We have the highest c-section rate out of all the developed countries.
  16. Yay for girls! I love how her legs were wide open! Haha. Little show off!
  17. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! My heart just melted. What a cutie. Thank you for saving him!
  18. Congratulations!!! She's gorgeous. I'm jealous that Kim looks so great after labor. I was a mess!
  19. I've already vowed to give him separate bday gifts (wrapped in bday paper!) so hopefully I can stick to that. I forget that you don't have to have the birthday party on the actual birthday. DUH!!! Can you tell I didn't have birthday parties?! Jeez, so obvious Jess!
  20. I had a similiar thread a few weeks ago (although you made yours in the appropriate forum, I don't know how I didn't notice this forum before!). Maybe it will help a bit. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t21034
  21. So today I was thinking about Aiden's 1st birthday (yeah, still some months off, but I'm a planner!). His birthday is December 30th. Smack in the middle of Christmas and New Year's Eve. Poor thing! I remember my friend always telling me how she got cheated out of gifts because of her Jan 2nd bday. But anyway, I was wondering more about birthday parties. If you have a birthday (or a child with a birthday) around this time, did you have birthday parties growing up? How did that work? My concerns are that I'm wondering if Aiden will always have crappy birthday parties. I mean I'm sure family will come, that's a given. But I wonder if friends would be able to make it because it is such a busy time of the year. Especially when he's younger. I only had one birthday party growing up so I sort of always dreamed of being able to do a birthday party each year for my kids (at least while they are younger), now I'm wondering if that's going to be a bust. LOL. I have too much time on my hands today!
