  1. I LOVE this show. I don't have any favorites yet. I didn't like the girl from Miami though. She was a good club type dancer, but I didn't see her having great technical skills at all.
  2. After working with the autistic population for 6 years, I not only learned a lot, but developed a strong passion for Autism research.
  3. I used to LOVE this show as a kid. Brian was also a big fan. We watched it a couple of times but we keep forgetting when it's on
  4. Thanks girls. Ha... But since both Aiden and I have others besides these, I'm beginning to wonder at what age Aiden is going to start bugging me to get one. I'm going to tell him he has to get an "I (Heart) Mommy" tattoo since I got one for him. Even trade!
  5. Indoor vs outdoor dog issue aside, there are just some people who are always going to have an opinion on EVERYTHING about how others live. I know how annoying it can be. Believe me, I hate when people give me unsolicitated advice or comment on aspects of my life they know nothing about. But you just sort of need to learn to brush off their comments. Let it go in one ear and out the other. It sounds like you love and care about your dogs, so don't doubt that you are a good mother to them. PS. When you have "skin babies" you get advice and suggestions from EVERYONE. Including people who aren't your family and complete strangers. It actually starts the moment people realize your pregnant. I just learned to tune them all out.
  6. Aww, I'm sorry honey! If it helps, our "leaving day" for our wedding, I spent most of the day in tears because Brian wouldn't listen to me when I told him we needed to be at the airport 1 1/2 early. We missed our first flight, then missed our re-booked flight at a different airport and then missed our connecting flight in PR! But everything turned out ok in the end. At least someone was there with Lexy and she wasn't alone. You'll have a fantastic wedding. Just a little bump.
  7. I dropped my brand new 5 day old phone in a pitcher of juice... after drying it out, it works fine. The keys stuck for awhile, I had to clean them about 10 times, but it works!

It's probably my fault because I didn't catch it in the proof he gave me, I let myself get distracted. There isn't even supposed to be a third one, I told him two on each side... but now I'm going to get a third one added to the other side just so I won't obsess over it. Oh well, easy fix.
  9. happy birthday to you! happy birthday to you! happy birthday dear sarah! happy birthday to you! i think that's how it goes...
  10. Ok, I'm changing the title of this thread for sure!! The pictures were taken the morning after.
  11. Aww. I guess you wouldn't have been friends with me in high school! I had a "pet" tarantula. But I hate when you go to kill/trap/whatever a bug and it hides because then you spend the rest of the day thinking you're going to step on it or it's going to jump on you or something.
  12. It's in the high 80's here, but it feels so much hotter outside. Ugh. I had to go shopping and having to get ina scorching hot car is the worst. I'm currently camping out in my basement until nightfall! It's nice and cool down here.
  13. Brian does this to me all the time. The bastard. It drives me crazy.
  14. Awww, poor baby!! I hope that bladder infection goes away soon!
  15. I guess I'm an ugly girl!!!!! I didn't really care about my ring. I didn't even want a damn ring and I was kind of P.O'ed that Brian spent as much as he did on the ring he gave me. I mean, now I love it because he picked it all out by himself and it's actually very pretty, but I just think that money could have been used for something else.

Ok, admittedly my life hasn't been that exciting lately, but no, I would not make a post about printer ink!
  18. So ever since Aiden was a little bitty baby in the making, Brian and I wanted to get tattoos in honor of him. We finally got them done yesterday! This is mine: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...sstatclose.jpg A burning heart. Nothing too crazy, but I still love it. I did notice a mistake the artist made (of course I noticed it AFTER I got home) so I'll eventually go back to get it fixed, but all in all I'm happy with it. Small "warning" the below pic is not explicit by any means, but it shows some bare back (a la Miley Cyrus!), but I don't know what everyone's "NSFW" standards are so I just thought I'd let you know first. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...al/jesstat.jpg This just shows where the tattoo is on my back. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...antatclose.jpg And this is Brian's. I think he's actually going to go for a half sleeve on this arm so there will be more added. Well, that's all. Just thought I'd share!

Simple! I know someone who's 5 year old has a cell phone. FIVE!!!!! Just because Disney slapped some stickers on a cell phone doesn't mean you have to get your kid wrong. My friends tease me that I'm going to be a "mean mommy" because my favorite word is going to be "no." Which is only partially true. I mean, obviously I want my kids to experience a lot of different things and I want to encourage indepence and individuality and all that, but I'm totally going to set some serious limits. All this computer/cell phone/ technology bullshit is going to be a NO. You are a child. Go play outside and use your imagination! Or read a book. Climb a tree. Do something creative! No sitting in front of the computer all day.
  20. I share Glenda's hatred for Myspace personally. But no way in hell would my kid at 7 have a myspace page. No offense to your friend because I'm sure she's a great mom, but just because a kid whines for something doesn't mean they should get it. I'd personally love it if Myspace and all similiar sites lost their popularity before Aiden becomes old enough to navigate the interent.
  21. not offensive, but it looks like fun! i was thinking when i read about the vegas part we were going to see stripper boobies or something to fulfill the offensiveness.
  22. Candy Sunny Hooter Hmmm. Sounds like I can get my career in porn started now!
