  1. That's funny!!! Normally I hate McDonald's and find it absolutely disgusting. However the whole tmie I was preggo with Aiden I would want the Chicken Strips meal everytime I passed by a McDonald's. Since there was one on the way to school and work, I'd end up going there just about everyday.
  2. I haven't forgotten my girl either!! Everytime I attempt to go shoppng, something comes up. I'll get it done soon though. Promise!
  3. I love Etsy!!! I've gotten a lot of cool baby stuff from there. I also make jewlery and paint and stuff and am in the midst of setting up an etsy shop. I couldn't resist. Some of my favorite sellers are: Etsy :: BBBellezza :: {Handmade Jewelry} Etsy :: saaridesign :: saaridesign.com for ALL your baby needs! Etsy :: Vintagelucys :: Stylish hip items with a vintage flair...Boutique baby Etsy :: CarmelaJay :: WWW.MIVIDACREATIONS.COM
  4. I love LMN. Unfortunately I've seen most of these movies already. I obviously watch waaaaay to much Lifetime.
  5. That is cute! Although I think people should apply that to life in general, not just marriage.
  6. Finally Glenda! Yay!!! Have an amazing day and I am so excited to see all the pictures.
  7. Congrats on the new job Amanda. Glad it all worked out.
  8. I've been dying to go there. I kept hearing about it from my friend in GA and thought it was a local thing, but recently found out not only is it a chain, but they have a bunch in NJ. I never knew!! I want to go to either the one in Red Bank or the one in AC with DH. Did you go to the Red Bank one? Was it really nice? Did you get the whole sha-bang? I was looking at their menu the other day and drooling.
  9. She's adorable Christine. And what a cute site! I've never seen that before.
  10. Aww, I'm sorry about your sister. I'm sure everyone waited to tell you because they just didn't want to disappoint you. It would have been nice if they told you sooner though! My dad, cousin (and his gf) and my aunt waited until 1.5 weeks before the wedding to book their tickets and hotel. Luckily they didn't need passports for St Thomas, but it was still annoying that they waited soooo long to book because I wasn't even sure if they were going to end up going or not. Apparently some people are major procrastinators when it comes to travel plans... which I'll never understand, but I'm the super organized type. Anyway, I've heard so many stories about last minute bookers. You are right, you need to just stop worrying about them. Focus on you and what you need to get done. They are adults, they can make their own plans and if they don't get all their stuff done on time, they have no one to blame but themselves.
  11. I love NYC. You'll have a blast. There's a TON of places to eat though. Give us an idea of what you like.
  12. Yeah I will send out invites later in the day if anyone wants to play again. Jeez, I always suck at this game! I need to start reading more gossip rags and pick better people!
  13. Aww, that's cute! The bald spots are soooo funny. Aiden just finally filled in all his bald spots, now I'm just waiting for him to actually get more than a thin layer of hair so i can so some funky hairstyles on the kid. I'm so jealous of Tammy's Jackson. Now that kid has awesome hair!
  14. Awww, I wish I could come. But Brian works and Friday's and like Lizz, I think if I took Aiden out for drinks, Brian would be a little upset with me! (PS Before I forget, Yari, I just mailed out the Tori Spelling book to you today, so you can read it on the plane if you're not already done with it by then!).
  15. It looks so fun and cheerful! Great job.
  16. OMG!!!! This is awesome, Alyssa. Thanks for sharing. Totally going to do this. We took Aiden to the Franklin Institute a few months ago for the Star Wars Exhibit (that was alllllll Brian). But this is so much cooler.
  17. I just have to say, I don't know how the cleanliness of the house correlates to feeling trapped. If that what he uses as an excuse, not only does it not make sense but it's totally a cover for something deeper. I'm a total neat freak and Brian is the polar opposite. We fight about this all the time. And although it is it's own issue (ie. I don't want to spend the rest of my life picking up after him) that totally had nothing to do why I felt trapped. His feelings of being trapped probably have something more to do with the fact that marriage is a huge commitment. You are legally commiting yourself to someone. If things get rough, you can't just runaway or breakup (well, you can, but it's harder to do!). If he's a very independent type of person, to him marriage may also feel like a loss of some of that independence. Wedding talk is just another reminder of all his fears about marriage. I think some type of mediated conversation (i.e marriage counselor) would benefit you a lot.

Anyone go through anything similar? Everyone seems so soooo happy and in love...makes me wonder about us... Brian and I went through this... except I was the one feeling trapped and with cold feet. Truth be told, I've never been big on the idea of marriage and it scared the heck out of me. Happiness definitely takes work with us... every relationship requires work and anyone who tells you otherwise is full of lies. We actually ended up taking time away from each other and our relationship while we were engaged because it got so bad. I'm sorry you guys are having a rough time right now.

It took awhile and even now although she for the most part knows that she has set times when we let her out (and knows that if she needs to go, she can stand by the door or scratch at it), there will be an accident a least once every two weeks.
  20. FINALLY!!! The news. I'm sure she's perfect. Can't wait to see pics and hear from Christine.
  21. Oh no! That's bad. My 1 year old cocker chews EVERYTHING as well. It's quite obnoxious. That's crappy that someone stole your box with your memory frame order. Bastards!
  22. Glad you guys are safe at home! Can't wait to hear more once you get settled in.

  24. Becks, I was thinking the same thing. Ewww, I so would not have wanted Aiden even breathing subway air when he was born. Plus having all those people crowded around... ugh! I totally agree with the person who said "there on the platform — I would have had a fit!"
