  1. I'm jealous of the Arod steal. I'm such a crappy celeb picker!
  2. I do!! In my signature. Mine is a personal blog though, not a "business" type one. Not sure what kind you were referring to.
  3. Right now I'm a Stay At Home Mom. I love my son and am grateful of the time I've been able to spend with him these past 6 months, but I'm ready to return to school and finish off my degree and go into a field I'm very passionate about.... Before Aiden, I was an ABA Therapist for the autistic population. I also worked in other aspects of the agency (I worked in the group homes as well as did some substitute teaching with population at the agency's school). I absolutely loved it and loved all my clients. However, it's not what I want to do for a living... I'm going to school for Family Therapy. Counseling is where my true passion lies, specifically focusing on the family dynamic. I certainly hope I will like it once I'm practicing professionally. I don't know much about Drama Therapy. I was interested in Art Therapy for awhile, and still have the background to actually pursue that angle as well (and most likely will add that on). Are you going/plan to go to NYU? I know that's one of the few schools that is actually accredited for Drama Therapy, correct? Interesting...
  4. Awesome pics Danielle. OMG Alyssa, your shower was amazing. I've never seen chocolate boxes before. I soooooo want one now. Looks yummy!
  5. I kinda like Sunday Rose. It's got sort of a "I'm gonna be a future singer" vibe to it.
  6. Did she?! That's cool. I haven't checked out my daily gossip yet.
  7. I love those. Someone posted about them on here awhile ago and that's how I first saw them.
  8. I love little road trips. Glad you had fun. Love the picture of you and FI. You look hot! Love the shoes.

Aww, that's why it looks familiar. I've been there... only once or twice though. I live like 15-20 minutes away from there.
  10. Aww. I know how you feel. We have to take up our entire first floor carpet because our dog ripped out no less than 5 spots. Damn dogs!
  11. You look so pretty! Love it. I echo Lauren's question, where is that marina? It looks so familiar to me... but I can't place it.

  13. So Thomas Beatie finally gave birth to his daughter. I remembered we had talked about this story before... 'Pregnant man' gives birth to baby girl -- Newsday.com Quote: A transgender man who made national news earlier this year when he revealed he was pregnant has given birth to a girl, ABC News reported. Thomas Beatie, 34. who became pregnant through artificial insemination, gave birth Sunday to a healthy baby. The Oregon man was resting and healthy, according to ABC. The birth was natural. Beatie, who was born a woman, kept his female sex organs. "I actually opted not to do anything to my reproductive organs because I wanted to have a child one day," he told Oprah Winfrey earlier this year. "I see pregnancy as a process and it doesn't define who I am." According to ABC, he was inseminated with a donor's sperm at his home by his wife. The device was described as similar to a syringe without the needle.
  14. Aww sweetie, I'm sorry you are going through a rough patch. Brian and I split up for about 3-4 months during our engagement because I needed time apart. It was har, but it was honestly for the best. If we didn't take that time apart and just went through like nothing was wrong well, either I would have been a runaway bride, or I'd be in posession of divorce papers right now. Good luck!! We're here whenever you need us.
  15. Tila Tequila used to IM Brian when he and I first started dating. She was a big Friendster whore back then before moving on to Myspace. Ugh!
  16. Aww, Glenda! You are way too pretty! The church was really pretty and those cupcakes look yummy!

I'm not a big Penn and Teller fan, but I like the general concept of the show.
  18. I had a white dress with ivory shoes/sandals. It can work!
  19. Well, it's only been two weeks. I know it sucks now, but you need to give it a little more time to adjust to the new schedule (both you and him). Brian works CRAZY hours. He's a paramedic so he's at work more often than he's at home. He works as a paramedic during the nightshift (7pm - 7am)and basically works 6 days out of the week. Because of his night schedule, even when he's home during the day, he's not "here" because he's sleeping. I'm pretty used to it by now so it doesn't bother me. Sometimes though we get into fights about it just because I'd like to do more stuff as a family and he's always so tired. But he does make a pretty good effort to do stuff with Aiden. Like today he only got about 4 hours of sleep between his work shifts because he went to Aiden's ped appointment with me and did some stuff around the house. I know he's tired though, so I try not to get on his case too much about it. Bottomline... it's rough, but give it a little more time. Having some "me" time can be a nice thing!
  20. I am doing PR work from home for some extra cash this summer. But I sort of had an advantage in that I've done PR work in the past and it's for a friend's record label, so getting the position wasn't that hard. I was looking at things to do when I was first home. I wouldd still like to do some SAH work because although I'm going back to school in the fall, I'm also doing an internship.. so I'll be working, just not getting paid. I would really like to make at least a little money on the side. Like you though, I have no desire to do the standard WAH jobs (sales, daycare, etc). I am pretty artistic and love making jewelry so I guess in theory I could try and do that, but it's sort of a crap shoot. I'd prefer something a little more solid. I'm was also thinking of doing some web design work.
  21. Brian looooooooves this show. The only episode I've seen is the Walmart one and it had a lot of boobage and I figured perhaps that's why Brian likes the show so much!
  22. Hmm... what I know about Boulder is that they are big pot heads! The students at the unversity have a big thing every April 20th. Open pot smoking is pretty common. But seriously, it's a beautiful town. I think the scenery is amazing.
  23. Hahaha!!! That is so funny. Cats are evil!! I love the kitties, but they always seem to be plotting. At least mine did.
  24. Probably nothing too exciting. My bro is coming down for the weekend. Probably just drinking and eating.
