  1. I finished mine! It's in the size limits but still bigger than I like. I may resize it.
  2. Aww. I'm sorry hun. I'm super sensitive and always start bawling when I'm upset so I understand that. On the otherhand, I can be very confrontational when someone gets in my face so I'd have no problem shutting this b!tch down. I hate, hate, HATE work drama. It's so high school and petty. Usually when I don't get along with someone at work I just totally shut them out. She seems like a typical bully. She's looking to get a rise out of you. She knows you won't stand up for yourself and she's zeroing in on that. You should tell your manager about the situation, I wouldn't cc Mary though. I'd email management and from now on just avoid Mary. If she tries this sh!t again, tell her you will only speak to her with a mediator (management) because of the previous encounter and walk away. Next time she shoots you down in front of others, say that you appreciate her opinion but you stand by your ideas. If you must talk to her about work related stuff keep to the topic and the moment the last sentence is out of your mouth, remove yourself from the room. I don't really know about the harassment angle but if that's something you want to pursue, you should look into it. Otherwise don't ever give her the satisfaction of knowing that she's gotten to you. As a fellw sensitive person, I know it sucks when someone is being mean to you but you need to develop an "F-you" attitude about it. Who cares what she says. No one believes her and she's just making herself out to be a petty bitch by acting like this. Her attitude is HER problem, not yours.
  3. Oooh, thanks for the link! I had totally meant to google her show line but forgot. Off to check it out now.
  4. I love Natalie Portman. In the sea of crap actresses like Jessica Alba and whoever else is "hot" right now, Natalie Portman is beautifully brilliant. I had no idea she was so tiny though. It was amusing see her stand next to Heidi Klum.
  5. Don't say who it is!!!! As curious as I am, I like the suspense of waiting. I'm glad at least it seems Keesha put up someone interesting! I hate the whole Angie/Mephis/Michelle/Jessie alliance so I'm hoping it was someone in there. Or Libra!
  6. I'm sorry for your loss. It's understandable to feel that way. People mean well, but at this time all you want to do is tell them to shove their well meaning comments up their butt. I'm agnostic and my best friend is religious and everytime he tells me stuff like this during rough times I literally start to go balistic inside my head. The situation you are in sucks and it's not fair and you probably just want to rip sh!t apart right now. Feel angry, sad, disappointed, afraid... whatever it is you need to feel. I don't think it ever "gets better". People just learn how to live with the loss. Lots of hugs and understanding your way.
  7. I just finished watching last nights episode thanks to DVR. I kinda can't believe that they actually liked that dress Stella made. When Nina made that comment to that douche wearing the shorts and loafers about only needing three things to look cheap, I thought that comment could have easily been applied to Stella's tacky 80's throwback side lace up dress. But that's just me...

  9. WHY DO I KEEP DOUBLE POSTING?!? Damn computer.

Yeah, but Ebay is the work of the devil. They are becoming more and more obnoxious with their fees and new rules about no comments from sellers. Screw 'em! Plus, I love reading the little stories on this site.
  11. Has anyone used this website? I never knew about it until now. Genius!!! Unfortunately I don't think I have kept anything from past exes that I'd put on here.... and my last ex actually took back every present he gave me, but still, what a fun idea. Ex-Boyfriend Jewelry

  13. Lol. Yeah, I'll let you know how it goes! I'm actually taking 3 classes plus doing my internship... so I expect next semester to get a bit crazy. But I'm just going to keep focused on the fact that I'm almost done! With that said, I think living on Brian's income is definitely the biggest hardship we've faced in the whole thing. I have not worked since I had Aiden, and because my internship is unpaid that's at least 9 more months of me not working. He also makes good money but NJ is so freaking expensive so we definitely are on a budget. Your plan so far (taking one class per term, etc) sounds great! I actually wanted to go back to school and take one or two classes (which would be 1 or 2 nights per week) after I had Aiden. The only reason I wasn't able to was because we had an issue with who could watch Aiden those few hours a week. Just do whatever is going to make you happy! Good luck!

Brian was walking behind me, stepped on the back of my shoe and I in turn tripped forward ripping the toe thing out.
  15. I have a crush on everyone here because you are all so damn hot! Yeah, I'm superficial, I crush based on looks

I did this as well (bust a pair of flip flops) and had to wear heels downtown (super hilly) and search for a pair of comfy flip flops. So yeah, definitely bring two pairs of comfy shoes!
  17. I wish I packed a travel sewing kit. I could have done without packing an excessive amount of shoes (I ended up wearing flip flops all 10 days and none of the heels I brought).
  18. Oh this sounds cool... a lot of thinking required. Actually I kind of have an idea, although it's not totally following your rules of having a picture for each letter, but I think it will be cute if I can pull it off!!
  19. I'm in grad school. I intentionally had Aiden while in grad school because once I get started in my career, I didn't want to take time out for pregnancy leave. I want to have baby #2 after I'm done with grad school (May 2009) and before I complete my hours for my license (for Family Therapy). I was pregnant during Fall 07 semester and took off the Spring 08 semester. I'm going back this fall. Being pregnant while in school wasn't hard, but I'm glad I took that semester off after Aiden was born. I'm sure it'll be crazy to be in school with a 8+ month old, but I'm usually one of those "full plate" types anyway so I know I'll be able to get through it.
  20. I'm the type of person who needs lots of space and alone time. I think DH is a little more "clingy" than I am, but overall we're not one of those "do everything together" couples. That would so not work for me. We are both very independent and do our own thing. I think DH would prefer if we had all the same friends and interests, but I'm glad we have our own seperate friends and hobbies. That being said, although I think DH would like us to do more together (in terms of having the same group of friends, etc), he's not unhappy. If we did everything together I think we'd have nothing exciting or new to talk about. But like PP said, every couple is different.
  21. Awww. School ALWAYS stresses me out. September I will be returning to school to finish up my masters (I have 2 semesters left). This will be the first time I will be going to school WHILE being a mom. I took off this past spring semester, but was in school Fall 07 while pregnant. I can not imagine how even more stressed than normal I'm going to be going to grad school while taking care of a baby. It definitely sucks! I can empathize with how you feel for sure. We'll get through it though! Not only for ourselves, but for the kids. It'll all pay off in the end I'm sure (it better! I have loans to pay back!).
  22. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's normal to feel isolated and depressed during a time like this. No advice, just wanted to let you know I read your post and we're always here when you need to talk.
  23. Freakishly scary. I have this thing wit dolls... they creep me out. And twins... OH MY GOD. I have this weird aversion to identical twins. I think twin lifelike dolls would be my nightmare come to life.
  24. I'm so glad Brian isn't into WoW. But sadly he does have a nasty Playstation addiction that makes me want to take the thing and run it over repeatedly with my car while Brian watches and cries.
